Violet Foras

chapter 15

It was finally a day from my 17th birthday. I woke up seeing Julie sitting on my bed smiling. "Wake up! Wake up!" Julie bounced on the bed and jumped off pulling my covers off of me. 

"Julie what?" I groan as I sit up from my bed. I rubbed my eyes and stretched.

 "Get dressed." She throws a black dress at me.

 I look it over, it had a white ribbon around the waist. "Where did this come from?" I looked up at her seeing she had a big smile. 

"It's from Miss Londa she said your the oldest out of everyone here so she had me give this to you." She walks over to her bed and picks up a dark purple dress. "Enough talk lets get dress then go eat." She started to change into her dress. 

I tried waking myself up a little then got myself dressed. The dress ended at my feet, the ribbon around the waist was a gorgeous touch. I had a hard time buttoning the back -shoulder blades and up.- Julie started laughing at me. I just woke up I'm not ready to struggle. So I decided to use a little energy to button the back and tie the ribbon. 

"Violet that was the laziest thing i have ever seen." Julie laughed at me again. 

"Shhh it never happend." I placed my finger on my lip. We laughed a little and got our boots on. "So where are we going?" I asked her while we went down the hall.

"It's a surprise." 

We went to the dinning area and sat with the other children. "Good morning Violet" Said Miss Lizzy with a smile. "You didn't say anything did you Julie?" She placed her hand on Julie's chair. 

"No ma'am." She smiles.

We finished eating and did our normal routines. We went out to the front seeing a carriage. "Where are we going?" I asked again as we all climed in.  (Miss Lizzy, Julie and I.) 

"Just wait and you will see." Julie said as she sat next to me in the carriage. The inside was roomy and gorgeous, there was a gold trim around the red leather seats. The walls on the inside were white. 

"This is such a gorgeous carriage Miss Lizzy." she looks over at me and smiled.

 "Thanks to you." She said happily. 

"Because of me?" I looked out the window and thought of where we were going and why such nice things. 

After sometime we made it to our destination. A suited man opened the door. There we saw a enormous mansion in front of us. "Welcome!" Said a blond haired women. She had a fancy long purple dress that touched the ground. She was gorgeous.

 "Hello, what a lovely home you have ma'am." Julie said in a kind sweet tone. 

“Well thank you darling." 

A well dressed man stood next to her. Must be her husband, he smiled at me and walked over to grab my hand and kiss it. "And this must be our little hero." He smiled again. 

“H-hero?" I stuttered with a light blush. 

"Rebecca come here darling." Said the blond women.

 "Yes mother." Said a young girls voice. It was the girl I saved from the horrible men. 

'What is happening?' I thought to Julie. 

'Surprise part 1.' She thought back with a smile.
