Violet Foras

It was the following night, I couldn't sleep. I noticed Mama and Jessie were out cold. I looked out the window that was above my bed, it was raining heavily. When the lightening strikes you could see the detail of every cloud that surrounded the cabin. 

There was small pallets of hail hitting against the cabin and trees that surrounded us. It was gorgeous and quite relaxing. I got up quietly and walked slowly to the front door. I went out onto the porch and sat down on the first step. The rain was cold but it felt good, it was beginning to feel hot inside.

I sat in my lotus pose and started to meditate to the storm for quite sometime. I was dirsturbed by the sound of mama's voice, "Violet, sweety, you will catch a cold let's go back inside." She helped me up then we walked back inside. 

Mama and I walked over to the small fire place and threw some wood in. She bagan to try lighting the match "Only if I can get this to light." Mama said as she struggled to even get a spark. It seemed like it was worn out, she tried another but unable to get it to light.

"Mama let me do it." I skooted myself closer to the fire and concentrated until I was confident and started my chant. (The same from when they came back into town) mama seemed impressed from how well I can control my powers. 

"Thank you sweety." She said as she hugged me tightly. I smiled at her as we got comfortable by the fire.

She began to read me the story of rumpelstiltskin. They seem quite dark, but that didn't bother my young innocent mind. After a hour or two mama and I went to bed for the night.

The sun shined but the storm still hasn't passed through. "Girls breakfast is ready." Mama said as she placed the dishes on the table along with silverware. Mama made us pancakes with delicious apple juice. 

"The rain seems heavy but it's not going to stop us from having our day." Mama said as she took a drink from her morning wine.

Mama and Jessie finished their meals and washed up and went to get dressed.

 Mama went through her clothing and put on her casual clothing. 

(Ade's casual.) 

After I finished up washing my plate I went to change into my dress. I received it when on my 9th birthday that was still a little large for me. (Violets dress)

We grabbed our umbrellas and stayed close to each other. The rain was heavy and it began to get cold. "Mama how much further?" Asked Jessie as she held onto mama Ade tightly. 

“Just a little further, the shop should still be open." Mama said as she shields her eyes from the rain. After several minutes we made it to the shop. We bought more clothes and a few shoes and a drink or two before we head out. "You girls ready to go see your aunty?" Mama Ade asked as she made sure we were bundled up before we went out to the carriage and climbed in.

We opened the window that was infront of us that showed mama and the driver. "Hello John, how are you today?" Mama Ade asked as she sat upfront next to the driver. "Girls this is your aunties friend John." Mama started to introduce us by our names and then spoke of how she adopted us. We had to go see her sister due to a lose in the family. (Their last family member passed away due to an unknown poison.) 

We finally arrived at her sisters house. It was gorgeous, there was a dirt path leading to a round about at the front door, it had a garden in the middle. There were rose bushes everywhere you look, there was trees all over. The storm didn't seem like it was going away anytime soon, we stepped out the carriage and took our items and umbrellas with us. We ran to the front door and waited for mama and John. "Girls go ahead and go in!" Yelled mama as she helped John with horse's. We ran inside and tried not to slip or fall from our muddy boots. 

"This place is amazing Violet!” Jessie said as she dropped her things onto the floor. She stood in the middle of the floor and looked up, she became amazed by the stainglass skylights. 

"Welcome to my home." Yelled out a womens voice. "Oh you must be Ade's girls, aren't you?" Ade sister asked as she went down the stairs to meet us. The lady was the same height as mama, she had brown hair that was tied in a bun. Her skin was porcelain white, she was dressed in a purple dress that had a golden trim.

"Yes ma'am we are." I said as I watched Jessie. "You have a lovely home ma'am." I said as I smiled softly. 

"Why thank you, what amazing manners you have too darling." She smiled and looked at Jessie. "So what are your names?" We introduced ourselves as we waited for mama to come inside the house.

"Ah, Ade long time no see!" Said Lisa (ade's sister.) They hugged with a few tears going down there faces. I noticed Lisa's dress it was long and gorgeous, it was lavender with gold trimming.  Mama, John and Lisa talked for what felt like ages, Jessie and I explored the house. We discovered the room we will be sharing for tonight. 

As we entered the room Jessie closes the door and runs to me and grabs my hands. “Violet do your magic!" 

I felt myself blush "shh! Don't be to loud." I smiled and took a step back. I grabbed 3 marbles from my pocket and levitated them into the air. I made them rotate and decided to make them spin around Jessie. "Don't touch them or I'll lose concentration." I warned her. She stood still with a smile and soft laugh. 

'Violet stop now.' The males voice spoke in my head it made me lose my concentration and the marbels fell and hit the ground around jessie.

  "Girls are you in there?" It sounded like aunty Lisa.
