Rose and I haven't spoke in three weeks so far. She was still mad at me for killing Mark.

My apartment was quiet like before. I had the day off so I decided to stay home and practice some spells. I decided to enhance my telekinesis and anything related. I focused on my neighbors, I went to concentrate on the neighbor on my right. "I wonder what I'm going to do for my rent money." "It's working." I spoke to myself.

I went to the left of my room. I concentrated on hearing the thoughts of my neighbor, there was nothing. I put my hand on the paper thin wall, no life was been detected. I felt a little confused, they just got home.

I went to my front door and poked my head out. I looked to my left and saw that their door was wide open. I even noticed drops of blood on the hallway floor leading to the room. I was beginning to drown in my own curiosity, I stepped out of my door frame and closed my door behind me.

I looked into the room, there was puddles of blood everywhere. Blood splats on the wall, I noticed streaks of blood covering the furniture. I look over at the two dead bodies, there was a black smoky shadow towering over them. It had a familiar vibe coming from it it almost felt like I seen this figure somewhere. But where?

I heard a soft female chuckle "oh dear, don't worry about that now." I turned around and saw a house keeper standing in the hallway smiling at me, she had brown hair that was tied into a tight bun. She had green eye's and rosey red lips.

"What do you-"

"-just go to your room now so I can clean up." She cuts me off and steps past me.

"What?" I looked back into the room the shadow was gone. "Don't tell me you didn't see that?" I pointed at the direction I saw it.

She smiled again, "of course I did dear." I gave her a confused look. "Its the ghost that comes and goes as it pleases." She sighs softly then brings a few spray bottles and a full bucket of wash clothes and a few towels. "He- I mean it kills off the one's it doesn't like." She begins to hum a tune as she begins to scrub the carpet.

'He?' I thought as I watched her. "Now run along I have alot to do here." She says with a shooing motion with her now gloved hand. I did as she wanted and went back into my room. I closed the door behind me once again and walked to my couch and sat down.

My phone began to ring. "Hello?" I answered.

"Violet I need you now." It was Rose.

"Where are you?" I felt a thump in my chest -even though I don't have a heart.

"I'm in the hospital please hurry." Rose said as she hung up on her end. 'She sounded like she was crying.' I quickly put my phone down and brought up a portal and within seconds I was next to Rose. She was laying in the hospital bed in the er.

"Rose what happened?" I placed my hand on her shoulder.

She looks up at me with tearful eye's, "I lost the baby." She sniffles a little.

I felt my eye widen, "when and how?" I sat on the bed facing her.

"Just this morning, I don't know how yet." I pulled her in close.

"I'm sorry Rose, I wish there was something I can do to help you." She pulls away and looks up at me.

"There is one thing." She pulls me close and kisses my lips. I closed my eye as she closed hers, her lips felt soft and cold.

I begin to hear foot steps and a soft gasp "oh my!" It was a nurse, she came to check up on Rose. We pulled away from each other and smiled at each other. "I didn't mean to intrude but we found the cause of your miscarriage." She clips some papers on a clip board. "Your blood pressure is very high and according to the information you gave us." She looks up from her clip board. "You show high levels of stress and possibly depression." She continues.
