chapter 30

The past few months have been boring and slow. Rose and I went to work, home, dates, and our nightly walks. I finally convinced her to move in with me, she finally agreed to do so. We begin to pack her belongings and put her cat in a kennel and teleported to my apartment.

"Rose do you really need this?" I asked as I picked up a yellow and black striped dress off of her bed. I held it by the hanger it was on to examine it.

"Yes I do need it I got it from my sister." She doesn't even bother to turn to look at me nor the dress.

"Your sister? Then I guess she had a bad taste in fashion." I laughed softly. She turns and glares at me then looks down at the dress.

"Yeah you're right." She laughs and continues to pack her shoes.

"But yet your the one to talk." She added.

"What do you mean by that?" I looked up at her from the box I had beside me.

"The photos you showed me, the ones from the circus." She chuckles "you looked so funny in that outfit."

"Yeah I did, now that I think about it." I folded the dress and some other ones. "But hey I had no choice, I was forced to do what I was told." After I said that she fell silent and stared at me. She opened her mouth but no words escaped, not even a noise. "Enough about my past let's finish packing before it gets to late."

"To late for what?" She asked me turning back around to focus on filling her box.

I begin to stretch by throwing my arms in front of me, "for your costume duh."

She turns and looks at me blankly "my costume?" She puts a finger to her lip to think.

I stared at her surprised that she forgot. "For Halloween you goof." I smiled and found a clean sock of hers and threw it at her face. She dodged it and threw the same sock back at me and hit me on my knee.

"Oh yeah, I must have forgot." She turns to look at her box. "But this month just started, why must we get it now?" She asked me.

"Well your costume is going to be expensive so it would be best to get it now by getting bits and pieces of it."

She nods her head slightly. "Ok that makes sense." She taped her both shut and stood up to carry it to her living room.

I fallowed behind her with the box I filled with clothes. "So V why don't you just live here?" I put the box on her small chair.

"I don't know really." I paused and looked at her. "Maybe it's because I'm use to such small spaces."

She nods once again "Yeah, ok I can understand."

I brought up a portal "want to go first?" I asked her as I picked up four boxes.

"Sure." Her eye's widen slightly. "Don't drop those." She picked up one box full of pictures and breakables.

"I won't trust me." I gestured her to go through then I followed after.

"So where should I put my boxes for now?" She looks around my living space.

"Just set them on the floor beside the couch." I put the four boxes down next to the arm rest.

I went to the kitchen to get Rose a quick drink. "Coffee or tea?" I called out.

"Tea please, hot." She answered me going through her boxes.

I heard a sudden thud against the carpet, "Rose are you ok?" I asked out thinking she might have just dropped something by accident.
