We sat at the table looking through her book. I could understand most of it but I still had much to learn.

"This is crazy Julie." I smiled at her and hugged her. "I'm surrprised these even exist."

Julie hugged me back then we went back to the book. "Yeah I think it's the third one out there." She sighed. "I wish I knew why it was brought with me. There are so many questions I have to ask."

We heard a knock on the door. We quickly hid the book and went to answer the door. It was Miss Lizzy. "Girls I have someone that would like to apologize to you." She stepped aside and there was Felicity and her two friends. Neither one of them gave us eye contact.

"I'm sorry for calling you names."

"We are sorry for trying to punch you." The two friends said.

Me and julie looked at each other in shock. 'I wonder what they said to her.'

I opened my mind to Julie. 'I hope they didn't say anything about our powers.'

She responded with a light sigh. "We accept your apology." We both said.

"Can we go now?" Asked Felicity in irritation. Miss Lizzy nodded and smiled at us and walked away. We giggled a little and went back to the book. Julie and I showed each other what we our magic was like. I found my marbles in coat pocket, I felt like crying but I had to leave it in the past. My hands turned black from finger tip to my elbow.

I levitated the marbels from my hand and made them surround the two of us. "This is amazing." She looked at the marbels. "Why is there a red aura surrounding them?" She asked me as we looked at them, I made all three come closer to me. I never noticed, it's the same arura from my dreams.

I looked up at her "Maybe its just my energy." I said as I shrugged and made them spin in a slow circle.

"Your turn." I said as I had the marbels land on the floor in front of me. The black on my arms faded back to my normal pale skin tone.

"Hm lets try this." She inhaled and exhaled deeply and picked up one of my marbels. "Here goes nothing." She sat there concentrating on the marbel and then my marbels was covered in frost.

I became slightly amazed. "How did you do that? I thought you only had the capability of reading minds?"

She smiles and hands me the marbel. "I don't know but the names the kids keep calling me might be true." She scratches her head "maybe I am a witch."

I looked at the marbel she gave me and I placed my other hand over it. Then I spoke, "Volo vis gelu et frigus et gelu nix Ut cursus. Potens cupio nisi bonum!" I looked at my hands and the marbel was covered in ice. "If I want my powers to work I must speak it." I handed her the marble back. "Try warming the marbel up, if you think your a witch then try." I smiled "but think practice makes perfect." I added on. "Ok give me a minute." She did her technique and then a second later she made the marbel have a warm small -but weak- fire surround it. The ice was gone.

Several hours have past of me and Julie trying different chants and different ways. We finally went to bed to retire for the night.

Me and Julie woke up the next morning to see snow covering the trees and the paths. It was wonderful, "Violet put this on and let's go out after we eat." Julie said as she throws a coat at me.

I smiled and went down the hall with her. The other children haven't come down to eat yet so we waited. After waiting for another hour we forgot our hunger and went to play in the snow.

There was a few children here and there in the front of the orphanage. Having a snowball fight or building a snow man or forts. Julie and I just sat in the snow and made a few snow angels. (A demon making a snow angel weird huh?)

We stayed out for several hours and Julie was finally cold, so cold her nose was red as the buttons on her coat.

We went in to play in our room and then finally lunch.

Julie and I had hot chocolate with some cookies Miss Lizzy made for us and the other children. She was an amazing cook.

She taught me on how to make soup. It was amazing. "Violet can I ask you something?" Julie turned to me as we sat at the table eating. "When you turn 18 in a year will you wait for me?" She asked me as she took another bite.

"I can't make promises that are meant for the future." I said as I wiped my face.

She sighs and continues eating. I've noticed that Felicity has been staring at us from across the table. 'Whats her deal?' I opened my mind to Julie.

'I don't know but Im feel uncomfortable about it.' She responded by looking up at Felicity.

After lunch we stacked our bowls and cups and carried them to the kitchen to help Miss Lizzy and the other's clean up.

Then we ran back to our room to play but we found Felicity standing in the middle of the room with Jessie's doll. I stared at her trying to keep myself calm.

"Felicity I wouldn't mess with that if I were you." Julie said calmly as she took a step forward.

"One more step and I'll break the head off." She placed one hand on the head and the other and on the body.

"You made my friends leave, everything is your fault. I have no friends because of you two." I saw tears fall down her freckled cheeks. "Because of you two I don't have anymore friends." She squeezes at the doll head.

"What do you mean? we didn't do anything to you. You did this to yourself, karma has it's way." I said in anger.

"Violet don't, let me talk to her." Julie said as she stepped closer when Felicity rubbed her eyes. "Put the doll down and we can talk-"

"-No don't tell me what to do." Felicity yelled out as I heard a crack on the doll.

"I've had Enough." I stepped closer. My hands became pitch black and my eyes glowed.

"Violet no." Julie used the same head piercing ring she used on Felicity against me. I fell to my knees in pain. 'No more harming others, I'm not going to let you kill her. I understand your mad but calm down.' She sent her thought to me.

'Let me go!.' I yelled in my head, I couldn't even push my energy to stop either one of them my brain felt like it was covered in barbed wire.

I felt a vibration on the ground. "I warned you!" Glass shatters. . . . Felicity broke Jessie's doll. . .

Julie stopped what she was doing and looked at the ground. I remain silent and stared at the piece. "It was all I had left of them both, now that is taken away from me as well."

Julie touched my shoulder. I quickly shook her off, "don't touch me." I looked up at Felicity. I felt my energy grow strong by the fear she provided

"Run Felicity I'll try to keep her here." Julie did the same mind ring on me again. "I'm not letting you go until you calm down." Julie said as she stood there.

I wanted to scream but Julie stopped me from doing that as well. We couldn't attract anymore attention.

Several hours of trying to stand up and block Julie out of my mind. I finally decided to let it go and calm down. All my anger was locked inside of me, me and julie picked up all the pieces we could find and sat on my bed.
