(S/c)= shirt color
You woke up to the sound of Makeshift on the roof jumping up and down. She seemed to have figured out that if she did that it gets you up faster so you two could go fly. You get up from bed with a groan and head over to get changed. It was now week 8 and and you started to realize your clothes were more tight fitting. Hiding the whole thing was stressful. Although not many people did know about it. Only you, Hiccup, Gobber, Stoick, the two dragons and the elder knew and you wanted to keep it that way for as long as possible.

You watched yourself in the mirror with your shirt off examining the small lump that had started to form, gently touching it. Makeshift jumped on the roof again as you sighed pulled your (s/c) shift on. You knew you wouldn't get to ride her everyday once the baby developed a little more. If you fell, whether or not with Makeshift catching you, could seriously hurt the baby.

You grab some breakfast despite being hungry and head out the door to Makeshift who looked down happily at you. "You know you could fly on your own." You said as she made her way down to you. She bumped her head gently against your stomach knowing of the growing baby inside. You scratched her and smiled climbing on. She took off gently as you flew through the the air.

As the minutes passed of gently flying, your thoughts drift to your parents. Would they approve of this? How would they had reacted? You never felt like you wanted your mother more than at that moment. You wanted to talk to someone and be close to them and learn to be a mother, but it was just you doing this by yourself. Sure you had Hiccup and the chief, but they didn't know what it was like to have a child. Stoick could give advice on how to raise one. The elder was a woman, but she never had children. You sighed as you rested your hand back on your stomach rubbing the tiny lump again. This was something you found yourself doing a lot lately.

Beating wings snapped you out of your thoughts. You looked around for a second and saw Hiccup riding on Toothless. You smiled at them and waved. "Thanks for not scaring me this time." You shot over the wind thinking back to your picnic date. He chuckled and shook his head, "I don't want to give you a heart attack." You roll your eyes at him. Now he didn't. Your relationship had been going well surprisingly. Not that that bugged you, you did love having him around and you found yourself loving him. He said it to you every night which made it even better.

"You've been taking a lot of morning flights lately!" He yelled over at you. "Figured I might as well, I might not get to do this everyday soon." You hid the sad look that came across at the thought of this and gave Makeshift a gently pat. You quickly pushed it aside and looked back to the green eyed boy.

"Hey, so I was thinking," he started looking slightly nervous. "Yeah?" You called to him. "I was just thinking that, well.. It's been 8 weeks." You nod your head knowing what he was going to ask. "Hiccup, no. Not yet." He gave you a defeated look. "(Y/n), please. Its been 8 weeks! We can't hide this forever! Might as well get it over with." You sighed. You knew he was right. They would have to know sooner or later, and you knew it would be better if you just got it done with. You sigh and shake your head, "I know.. I just, it's-" he nods in understanding.

"Embarrassing." His finishes for you. You nodded your head. The two dragons' pace had slowed. "I know, it's hard for me to. But I just want it done. Come on let's head back." He said turning back toward the village. You follow him without saying anything. Once the dragons had landed you looked at Hiccup. "So when are we going to do this?" He looked at you with a surprised expression. "R-really?" You sigh and nod. "Wow, ok. How about dinner tonight?" You nod again, knowing your words would fail you as you turn toward Makeshift.

You felt a pair of familiar arms wrap there way around you making a smile cross your face. "Come here you." He said as he turned you so that you faced each other. Once turned around he pulled you into a hug and rubbed circles on your back in the most calming way. Your couldn't help but wrap your arms around his body in response. He was warm and gently and smelled like the woods and fresh air and dragons.
