Those seven names along with thirteen others were scribbled onto the concrete wall the belonged to the barracks. Candles, notes, candies, and jewelry sat below on a table someone had put up.

The all-around mood of the camp had dropped and became somber. People were crying, some didn't even leave their rooms until they one-hundred percent needed to.

"Do you think they're in heaven?"

I turned my head around and saw Aliza staring at the posters, "I don't think you could ever know."

I never really believed in the whole god and heaven thing. But I can understand why people would turn to it in a time like this.

"Why would those people do that?" She asked.

"Do want the real reason or a spiritual kind of answer?" I asked.

"Real reason," She stated.

I sighed, "Well, they didn't like that we turned down their offer to help find people."

She looked at me confused, "Why would you turn down the offer to help them?"

"The people that were "missing", just wanted to leave the community, and they wanted to hurt them for it," I answered.

She huffed and crossed her arms, "If we give everyone banana splits, everything would be okay."

I laughed, "Banana splits huh?"

"I mean, I like them, so they must like them too," She stated.

I nodded, "I'll let Izzy know about that."

I stood there in awkward silence until Aliza popped up in front of me, "Can we go see the cows?" She asked.

"Sure," I  said.

She jumped up and down, "Yay!"

When we reached the garden center, Aliza sped down the path and disappeared into the barn.

"Jaiden! Come on!" She yelled.

I shook my head and jogged into the barn, "I have no clue where these cows are."

"Go to your -- umm... yeah the right, " She said, "I think."

I turned right and rounded another corner and found her sitting on the floor with a little cow, probably born a few days earlier.

"Isn't she cute?" She asked.

I crouched down in front of the cow, "Do you know its a girl?"

"Well, no." She said. "But I want it to be one."

I laughed and stayed crouched down with her on the ground until she was called off by one of the school teachers.

  ΞΞΞ

I wandered around the camp for a couple of hours until I decided to visit Izzy, who hopefully was up in her office.

I ran up the steps and opened the door, only to find her seat empty.

"Anybody got eyes on Izz?" I asked.

The radio went silent as I walked back down the stairs and outside into the street.

"Hello?" I asked.

"People are working Jaiden," Some lady said.

"Oh, I'm sorry, is the work that was assigned to you by Izzy more important than Izzy's whereabouts?" I asked.

"I think she said she was checking out the wall damages," Six stated.

"Any certain wall?" I asked.

"She was walking to the back," He stated.

"Great," I mumbled.

I wandered around the wall outline and made my way around the old houses. I turn the corner and saw nobody standing by the wall, not a single person.

"What the hell," I mumbled.

I wander around and hear heavy breathing coming from the building supplies. I climbed on top of the steel and looked under and around it, finding nothing, I slid back down and stood still, trying to hear it again.

"Yo!" I yelled

A small groan came from the same area and I ran around the side of the truck, crouching down and moving towards the front of it. I glanced under the truck and saw a body laying on the ground -- and the body was wearing its signature outfit.

It was Izzy, lying on the ground, holding her stomach as blood pooled out of it.

"Shit."

I ran back around the truck and checked around the edges of the wall, nothing on the left side.

I turned and on the dirt below was a pile of the men and women who were supposed to be on duty at this location. A letter sat on top, I grabbed it and then raced back to Izzy.

sliding onto the ground as I arrived, I put my hands over her's to try and stop the bleeding, but it wasn't stopping at all.

"What the hell happened?" I asked.

"Eri--" She coughed, "Eric. They came and -- I couldn't save them," She stated.

"Okay, Okay. Ummm -- just -- fuck!" I rambled.

I grabbed the walkie-talkie and switched over to the medical line, "I need someone from medical down by hole seven right fucking now!"

I threw the radio off to the side and slide off my flannel, leaving me in only the blood-soaked tank top. I balled up the shirt and held it over her stomach, it seemed to help a little, but the wound was still bleeding heavily.

I grabbed the radio again and slammed down on the button, "I swear to god if nobody is gonna respond to this I will personally rip your heart out of your chest kali-fucking-mah style!"

"We're coming, god damn Jaiden, chill," Dr. Malls said.

I closed my eyes and gritted my teeth together, "When you fucking find out who it is that you're saving, you will be a fucking sorry motherfucker."

"Who is it?" She asked.

I laughed, "Get here. Right. Fucking. Now," I ordered through gritted teeth. "I don't care if you have to fucking sprint your fat-ass over here. Fucking get here."
