Chapter 6

Bri's pov.   Wensday, August 15th Part 2.

"We'll be in the lobby if you need us. We don't want to intrude while you are getting ready to leave." I say refering to Sparks and I as I step out of the room. I walk downstairs and sit on one of the lobby couches waiting for them to finish packing.

"Sparks are you excited to finally travel with others instead of on our own as we normally do." I say talking to the Pikachu in my lap.

"Pika pi." She says nodding.

"Bri, Sparks sorry to keep you both waiting, we are ready to leave." Serena says. Sparks jumps to my shoulder, as I get up and grab my bag.

"Then let's head out." I say facing the girls and Piplup. They start walking by my side. May leads the way seeing as this is where she is from.

"So Bri, how did you meet your partners?" Dawn asks trying to strike up a conversation.

"Well I met Sparks here before I turned 10, about a few weeks after I turned 9. She would always come to the house and while Ash was watching tv inside probably re-runs of the pokemon leagues from different regions. I would be outside playing with her, now almost 6 years ago in kanto you had to wait for a certain day to get your starter pokemon from Profesor Oak, who normally only had one of each and there were at least 5 of us that would be ten by the time that day came but, on your Tenth birthday you could get your pokemon license, so that's what I did, and I asked Sparks if she wanted to be my partner. When she nodded, I went to professor Oaks lab and asked for a poke ball, he gave one to me and I had already decided instead of being normal and traveling my home region first I would go to Alola which I had already talked to our mom about and she said when I had my first pokemon I could, so I flew to Alola, with Sparks who I found out after capturing her she didn't like being in her pokeball so I kept her out with me. When I got to Alola I was told by the professor to go to Iki town so I did because I was curious when I got there I saw a boy about my age playing with a group of pokemon, who I later found out were Alola's starter Pokemon, the boy's Grandfather who was watching him turned out to be the Kahuna of the island, which is basically the leader of the Island, told me that they don't have gyms instead trials that a trainer has to face with their partners. I walked over to the group of starter pokemon and the boy, and sat down as Sparks played with them soon the fire starter Litten came up to me and curled up in my lap and fell asleep, both the Kahana and his grandson gasped. I asked them what was the matter they explained that Litten, the same one that was in my lap, normally didn't like people, which suprised me considering the fact it just came up to me and curled up in my lap. So I started to pet the little one, It woke up and licked my face, the Kahuna asked if I wanted to take Litten with me on my journey, I looked at the Litten and asked her if she wanted to come with me, she jumped up and licked my face again, which I took as a yes. So I took her with me. When I was traveling a group of pokemon accidently knocked me off a bridge, the island guardian saved me and gave me a mysterious stone I showed it to the Kahuna, he told me it was the stone they make Z-rings out of he took it and made the Z-ring for me, he asked where I got it from, I told him, apparently it's not just anyone who gets their Z-ring directly from an island guardian. After a month or so passed I was walking through one of the routes and heard wimpering, Sparks and I got worried and decided to follow it I let Litten out just in case we needed her help, we followed the wimpering and saw a horrendous sight, we saw a team skull grunt, which is the evil team there, put a Rockruff in a cage and then kick a Growlith that was trying to help their friend immediately I ran up to him with Sparks and Litten not to far behind. I grabbed the cage and pried his hands off of it, then told Sparks to shock him with all she had and Litten to burn him. If there is one thing I don't like is when people abuse pokemon, it just makes me sick. So when he ran away I picked the lock on the cage getting the Rockruff out, then him and his friend tackled me and started licking me, they then had started to follow me so I asked them if they wanted to come with us they nodded so I caught them, I stayed in Alola and completed the island challenge but, then a pokemon school opened up and I decided to go to it, so I went for almost 2 years, before going to Sinnoh and training with my uncle, during the training he gave me an egg and told me it was my job to raise it and protect it, it was the egg of his two Lucario who after the first year of training had gotten to know me pretty well and wanted their child to go with me on my journey, he also gave me a mega stone, and key stone. I went on taking on the gyms with my team who had since all evolved fully except Sparks who wants to stay a Pikachu, and placed 4th over all in the league. Then I came here, what about you all how did you meet your partners?" I ask.

"Well Pip-" Dawn was cut off.

"Give me the blond, and no one gets hurt." A man with a Mienshoo says. I immediately get infront of the group.

"No." I respond.

"Mienshoo aura sphere at the blond." The man says.
