Chapter 31

Bri's pov. Sunday, October 7th Part 1.

I yawn as I wake up ready to face the day, one of my closest friends wedding, Burnet maybe a bit older than me but, only by a few years. I start to get everyone's dresses out, while I may not be a big fan of dresses I'll make an exception for this. I then go make myself some coffee drinking it. Once I finish it I put my dress on and start on my hair, deciding to not put my shoes on till we have to leave. I turn as I hear a door open, still working on my hair, to see Serena walking out of her room.

"Mornin' Sere how'd you sleep?" I ask.

"Oh, Good Morning Bri, I slept well, what about you?" She asks.

"I slept fine." I say.

"Do you have your speech prepared?" She asks I nod pulling it from a secret pocket in my dress.

"Yup I'm all set, do you want me to help you get ready for the wedding?" I ask.

"No, I should be fine but, if I need help I'll ask. Also don't we need to wake up everyone?" Serena asks I look at the clock.

"Yeah, I'll get Burnet, Mallow, Lillie and Lana. Can you get May, Dawn, and Bonnie? You can use Sparks if needed." I say.

"Yeah, I got them." She says going to the room they fell asleep in, I head to Lillie's room where Burnet, Lillie, Mallow, and Lana fell asleep in.

"Guys It's time to get up." I say shaking them, everyone wakes up on my first try except Lana. "Lana come on time to get ready for the wedding." I say.

"Five.... More...... Minutes." She says. We all laugh.

"Alright guess we are doing this the hard way." I say and pick her up over my shoulder like a sack of berries, knowing she hates being picked up within seconds she is pounding on my back.

"Bri put me down." She says.

"This is what you get when you don't wake up when I try to." I say chuckling.

"Chhuuu." I hear from the other room.

"I'm up, I'm up." I hear Dawn as I set Lana on the couch.

Timeskip to when the wedding starts.

Burnet's father wasn't able to attend so last minute we decided that Red would walk her down the aisle. She handed me her bouquet and joined hands with Kukui. Principal Oak started to preform the ceremony.

"May we have the rings?" He asks. Ash gets up stiff as can be and walks the rings up then stands there frozen.

"Incineroar come get him." I say in my mind to her she nods and does. Principle Oak finishes the ceremony and we go straight into the reception. We go into the speeches mine is first.

"For those of you who don't know me, my name is Bri Ketchum, I am Burnet's maid of honor, First of all I'd like to thank you all for coming. Now I have known Burnet for a long time now five and a half years to be exact, I was on Akala island when a strong storm hit and Burnet was telling people to get inside she brought me inside her lab an we got to talking while the storm raged on outside, we found out about each other's past, she found out I was on a journey to find myself, and I found out she was looking for someone who loved pokemon as much as she did, immediately Kukui popped into my head, remembering he was single, I offered for her to join me on my way back to Melemele and to his lab, she agreed and I took her back with me, they hit it off immediately, a week later when I was about to head out to ulaula they were boyfriend and girlfriend, I've watched as their relationship has grown to this day and I am happy to see how far it's come, I know most of you are expecting some embarrassing stories about Burnet but, those go to the grave. The only advice I can give you both is always respect each other, and find your own path together of happiness." I say concluding my speech. Leo's speech is next, his speech was great and I kiss his cheek, he then goes off to talk to the guys. I hear calling from above and look above me to see all four tapu. 'This can't be good.' I say as I wander to behind Kukui's house, with my team behind me, they land infront of me.

"Hello." I say and bow in respect, my team does the same.

"Female Aura Guardian, we have reason to believe Alola is in great danger and it has to do with the Ather foundation." Tapu koko says.

"What about the Ather?" I ask.

"We believe they are working with team Skull." Tapu Fini says.

"Yeah I agree with you there, thats not good. Something you should know, all the evil teams from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, and here in Alola are working together under who we believe is Ash, Red, and I's....... father. Though none of us consider him that." I explain.

"Yeah that makes it worse, we believe you should go undercover since you have worked with the international police, when the ultra beasts attacked years ago, also they are back." Tapu Lele says.

"Yeah, I'll go undercover and find out, also they are back already, I thought we sealed the ultra worm holes enough that we wouldn't have to worry for a hundred years." I say holding my head.

"You did but, with Lusamine's obsession with ultra beasts, and Burnet's fasionation with ultra worm holes they managed to break your seal." Tapu Bulu says.

"Great, sometimes I wish I could tell them, either way could you all do me a favor while I am away?" I ask.

"What is it?" Tapu koko asks.

"I want you to watch after my brothers the two male aura guardians, and our mates." I say.

"Of course, we all care about you so those you care about are our priority to protect as well." Tapu Lele says. I nod as my pokegear vibrates, the tapu fly off. I check the Id it's Looker he hasn't called me in years.

"Agent Teal Flame, reporting for duty." I sulte the holo gram from my pokegear.

"Good, I am calling to say the worm hole has been reopened." Looker says.

"I am aware I'll need to pick up my disguise, as well as another one for a personal mission." I say.

"Alright I'm in the motel on Akala island come when you are ready." I nod and saute as he hangs up.

"Alright guys, you know half of you have to stay here with the girls and Ash. Sparks you never leave my side so you are coming. Who else is coming?" I ask.

"I say Lucario and Laron should go, Lucario so if you have to use your abilities you have a cover up, and Laron because you haven't fully bonded with her like you have the rest of us, that way when we are in danger she will know to force her way out of her pokeball when you use your aura, plus I want to stay with Delphox, and I'm sure Lycanroc wants to stay with Sylveon, and Lycanroc and Arcanine, always stay together, It just makes sense." Incineroar says the rest of my team nods in agreement as Lucario and Laron flank me with Sparks on my shoulder.

"Well then you three know your positions, listen to Ash and your respective trainers, as well as Kukui make sure they are safe guys." I say as I go to the group. "Guys I have to leave for a few months I'll be leaving half my team here with you all, I must be off see you all soon." I hug everyone and kiss Leo on the lips before whistling for Charizard, returning Lucario, and Laron to their pokeballs and handing, Incineroar, Arcanine, and Lycanroc's pokeballs to their respective trainers, mounting Charizard and flying off.
