Chapter 8

Bri's pov.  Wensday, August 15th Part 4.

"BRI" Serena yells as she wakes up.

"What's wrong?" I ask as I'm jolted awake. I look over to see her crying, I get up and walk over to her bed and sit on the edge of it I am immediately wrapped in a hug as she cries into my shirt. Lucario puts her paw on Serena's back, so does Incineroar.

"We heard a scream, what's wrong?" May and Dawn say as they run into the room.

"A nightmare." I respond. Once Serena calms down Dawn and May bring lunch up. I eat a sandwich.

"Something about today bothers me, I'm going to call my older brother and see if he can help me figure out, what's going on." I say they nod. I walk downstairs leaving all my pokemon in the room even Sparks. I get to the video phone and call Red.

"Hey Red." I say.

"Bri what's wrong, is something bothering you?" My brother asks.

"Yeah, earlier today the group and I were attacked by a man with a Mienshoo, who wanted Serena for some reason. I told him no and got infront of the group, when I did that he had the Mienshoo fire an aura sphere at Serena, I got infront of her and blocked it with the Ketchum family secret, a small enough one to where no one could have seen it, when the explosion from them happened his over shirt lifted for a split second, and I saw a rainbow R, same shape as Team Rocket's one. There's two things that bother me about that one why do they want Serena and two what evil team is it?" I say.

"I don't know, Bri, but, I'll look into it with the group here, maybe we will find out something." Red says.

"Thanks Red that puts my mind at ease knowing that you're looking into this Rainbow R team." I say.

"No problem, Bri, I gonna start looking into it if I find something I'll tell you next time you call, bye love you." Red says

"Love you too." I say and hang up. I walk back upstairs and walk inside our room Sparks jumps to my shoulder. I scratch under her chin. I see a bowl of small pink ovals.

"What are these?" I say pulling one out.

"Those are poffins, try one." Dawn says. I grab six handing one to each of my partners. Then stick the last one in my mouth.

"They are amazing." I say.

"Thanks." Dawn says, as Sparks jumps over to the table and grabs another.

"So May how far is Petalburg from here?" I ask.

"Not to far about an hour walk." May says.

"Do you think we could make it before nightfall?" I ask.

"Yeah, it's only one now." She says.

"Do you guys want to head for Petalburg now or wait till tomorrow then?" I ask.

"I want to see my family as soon as possible so I say now." May says.

"Now sounds fine." Dawn and Serena say. As everyone starts to pack up their stuff.

"Alright everyone return." I say holding their pokeballs. Everyone listens except Lucario.

"Bri would it be alright if I stay out with you, and the group?" She asks through telepathy.

"That's fine Lucario." I say.

"Wait you understand her?" Serena asks.

"Yeah she uses Telepathy to speak to me, she can also connect me to my other partners." I say.

Red's Pov.

"Guys I need to tell you all something." I say to the group.

"Yeah Red what is it?" Green says. While Blue and Yellow nod.

"Bri just called, she was kinda scared by the tone of her voice but, didn't show it." I start.

"Bri, doesn't get scared easily though." Yellow says.

"Yeah, she even used her aura." I say.

"Bri, only uses her aura if she feels it's needed, you and Ash use your's more than she does. So what happened?" Blue says.

"Apparently a man with a Mienshoo attacked them wanting Serena, he told the Mienshoo to fire an aura sphere at Serena, Bri reacted by jumping infront of her and letting lose a small but, powerful one so it looked like it exploded against her hand, his over shirt flew up for a split second, and she saw a rainbow R, same shape as Team Rocket's." I say.

"That's definitely enough to freak out anyone, possibly a new evil team." Green says.

"Bri definitely will be on guard from now on." Yellow says.

"Yeah Bri gets protective over the people she cares about, didn't she go through training with your uncle to prefect using her aura, if she ever needs to use it?" Blue asks.

"Yeah out of all of us she knows how to use her's the best." I respond.

"Though it's still worring that she felt she needed to use it." Green says.

"Yeah, it is we really need to try to figure out this new organization before they do anything." I say.

Bri's pov.

We walked to Petalburg in the time it took us to get there I found out how the others met their partners, though because of how on guard I was they thought I wasn't listening, so I repeated parts of their stories back to them and explained that I was just on guard. I had stuck to using my hearing and vision though had asked Lucario to inform me if anyone suspicious was coming our way, we got to Petalburg in one piece without any encounters.
