Chapter 11

Bri's pov.  Thursday, August 16th Part 2.

"Bri, what about Max's birthday?" Serena asks.

"We go see him now, and I'll come back in a few hours to check on Aron." I say.

"Can I come I'm worried about the little one." Serena says.

"If you want to but, right now they are probably wondering where we went." I say. She nods and we head back to the gym.

"Where were you two?" May asks.

"We went out training when we ran into another one of those grunts, who had an injured Aron in a cage." I respond.

"Where is the Aron now?" Dawn asks.

"In the pokemon center, she should be fine in a few hours." Serena says.

"Poor thing." May says we all nod. Max comes down the stairs.

"Happy birthday Max." We all say.

"Thank you." He says.

"You excited to get your first pokemon?" I ask.

"Yeah, I'm getting a Treeko." Max says.

"After Ash's good choice, I'm sure you two will have an unbreakable bond." I say, he nods he has his backpack all ready to go.

"What about the Aron?" Serena wispers.

"I'll stay here and make sure it's okay, though it looks like Incineroar and Lycanroc have taken a liking to Braixen and Sylveon so I'll send them with you." I wisper back. I stop off at the pokemon center.

"Bri aren't you coming?" Max asks.

"No we found an injured pokemon in a cage from one of those grunts earlier, I'm staying to make sure she's okay, you can tell me how getting your first pokemon was when you get back and I can meet them too." I say.

"Alright take care of the injured pokemon." He says, as him, May, Dawn, Piplup, Serena, Braixen, Pancham, Sylveon, Incineroar, and Lycanroc, head off.

"Bri I see you sent Incineroar and Lycanroc with them." Norman says.

"Yeah just to be safe." I say.

"So you, Serena and your teams ran into another one of those grunts again?" He asks.

"Yes, he had an injured Aron in a cage, and said something about ' the boss will love him for getting Aron, because Aron will be able to mega evolve.' Or at least thats what I heard him say, he also tried to get Serena again." I say.

"So you sent Incineroar and Lycanroc, Just in case they are attacked by another grunt that's a smart move." Norman says.

"Thank you sir, I am going to go check on Aron now." I say as I walk inside the pokemon center. I sit in one of the waiting chairs, Lucario comes up to me with a sphere in her paws and hands it to me.

"What's this, Lucario?" I ask.

"The grunt dropped this as he ran." Lucario says telepathically.

"Oh, looks like a mega stone, I think it's Aggronite." I say examining it then, putting it in my backpack.

"Thanks for grabing it." I say.

"No problem." She says taking a seat next to me. We wait for a few hours.

"Aron, is alright. Also it seems she just hatched by her size and markings." Nurse Joy says bringing it out on the stretcher.

"Thank you." I say.

"No problem it's my job." She says. I pick the little one up, as we walk out, the group gets back into town Serena sees me and runs up to me.

"How is she?" Serena asks.

"She just needs her rest and she will be just fine, she has apparently just hatched." I explain.

"Aww, poor thing." Serena says as the group approaches, I put a finger over my mouth to signal she is asleep. I see a Treeko walking next to Max, while Incineroar and Braixen are talking quietly, and Sylveon has one of her feelers wrapped around Lycanroc's leg, I smile at this and gently nudge Serena so she sees them. She smiles at the two of them. We get back inside the gym and Aron starts crying.

"Shh, shh, little one it's alright." I say trying to calm it down while rocking it, May starts humming so does Max, May's mom comes in and joins them, Aron looks up at me then snuggles into me and falls asleep again.

"Thank you." I wisper. They nod. I sit on the couch setting her on my lap and grab a piece of paper and a pen.

'We still have to call Ash he wanted me to call, so he could wish Max a happy birthday and good luck on his journey.' I write down and show Serena who takes the others out of the room. Caroline comes up to me with a small bottle filled with oran berry juice.

"Thanks" I mouth as I pet her head to wake her up, she yawns, I put the bottle up to her mouth she starts sipping it. I smile at this.

"Bri?" Serena asks.

"Hmm." I hum looking up.

"Ash says he wants to see you we told him about the Rainbow R team, the bond you share with Incineroar, and Aron. He is now explaining the bond phenomenon that I explained to you earlier." She says, I nod and stand up still holding Aron sipping on the bottle.

"Hey Ash." I say from behind the group.

"Hey Bri, is that Aron the one you found in a cage from a rainbow R team?" He asks I nod. As I turn Aron to face the camera, Pikachu starts making funny faces into the camera, both Aron and I start laughing. Then the group joins us.

"Is she going to join your team, Bri?" He asks the group looks at me expectancy. I look at Lucario.

"Lucario can you grab me a pokeball from my bag, please." I ask.

"Lu." She says as she leaves and comes back with a pokeball. I take the pokeball.

"Thank you, Lucario." I say.

"Lu." She says.

"Alright little one do you want to join my team, I say holding the pokeball infront of her, she sits there for a minute before she jumps forward hitting the button the pokeball moves around for a little before dinging. I then let her out and hold her close to me.

"That answer your question bro?" I ask. He laughs and nods.

"Ash, the pokemon are fighting again we need Bulbasaur." We hear in the backround.

"Alright I need to go talk to you soon." Ash says hanging up. Aron wiggles out of my grip and sits on my hat.

"You like it up there?" I ask.

"Arr." She says happily. Which has us all laughing.
