Chapter 55

Bri's pov. Wensday, January 2nd, Part 1

I wake up to my watch ringing. I step out and answer it.

"Agent Teal Flame reporting for duty Looker Sir."

"Bri, I have a job that you were specifically requested for you."

"With all due respect, Looker I thought I told you the girls and I are returning to Hoenn today so they can continue their contests."

"You did but, Steven Stone requested this of you, he understands that you have a group traveling with you, and that when he first met you, you were undercover. He specifically wants you saying you were the best and he only wants the best for this mission."

"Alright then, fill me in what does Mr. Stone want me doing?"

"Mrs. Elena Stone wants to travel the Hoenn region watching the rest of the contests but, Steven Stone doesn't have the time to travel the region to take her so he requested you we already discussed with him all the implications and issues with it but, he insists you will know what to do and he is offering ten times your normal payment, and since this is a high caliber mission you will get a promotion and be reporting directly to my boss Ms. Paige the Chief of the International Police, you will be a captain skipping multiple ranks and be able to carry as many pokemon as you choose on you at a time."

"Understood Sir. Looker it has been a pleasure working under you for these past years, I will make you proud."

"I will be transferring you to Ms. Paige now. It has been a pleasure having you on the team, Captain Teal Flame." He says his face disappears and is replaced with the face of a slightly tanned woman with blond hair with a stern look on her face.

"Captain Teal Flame reporting for duty Ma'am." I salute my posture straightening and looking her in the eyes.

"At ease Captain, I have heard of your many deeds for the people of Alola as well as your feats protecting a girl named Serena Yvonne from Colton Ketchum, I am pleased to hear you have accepted your position on my team."

"It's a pleasure to be here, Ms. Paige. I am honored to be on your team."

"Glad to hear it Captain, I assume Looker has filled you in on Steven Stone's request?"

"Yes, Ma'am. Though just to inform you I am traveling Hoenn with a group four sixteen year olds and my five year old daughter."

"I understood you were traveling with a group and your Aura abilities but, I had no clue you were a mother at eleven."

"No, no Ma'am as a chosen I am apart of a prophecy, I was prophesied to meet her and adopt her, and together with Ash and Red Ketchum along with their mates, we will defeat Colton Ketchum."

"Oh I see, good to know, I will inform them you have a five year old with you, we are sending a helicopter to pick you and your group up today at noon and you will meet Elena & Steven Stone this afternoon in Slateport city, and just a heads up the next contest is in Petalburg city in a few days."

"Understood Chief, thank you again for allowing me onto your team, I will make you proud Ma'am."

"Salutations Captain good luck on your mission." She says before her face disappears. I walk back into my room and get dressed before checking my watch it's 7am now. I go in and shake Leo awake. "Babe it's time to start getting ready to go, I gotta go wake up the girls, the helicopter will be here at noon, can you get Lex ready while, I wake everyone else up?" I kiss him I then go kiss Lexi's forehead.

"Of course Babe." he says he kisses me once more. I then get up and leave the room heading into Serena's room to find her and Ash cuddling asleep I give a smile and shake them both.

"Bro, Sere the helicopter comes in a few hours we have to get ready."

"Huh." Serena wakes up.

"We are taking a helicopter back to Hoenn wake your boyfriend up for me please then finish packing."

"Oh yeah, I'll finish packing and wake him up."

"Okay see you out in the livingroom at ten, I need to discuss something with you and the girls that could take awhile." I say then go to Dawn's room I knock on the door.

"Come in." She says I walk in to see her looking sad, I set my hand on her shoulder.

"What's wrong, Dawn?"

"Do you really think May likes me?" She asks. I turn her around.

"Look at me Dawn." She does. "I can guarantee she likes you, I know I've not been around you two for long but, by the way you two act there is no doubt in my mind she likes you. I'll tell you what, I'll help you after the next contest you are going to ask her out, and I'll help you prepare and pick out the perfect outfit."

"Really Bri?"

"Yes Dawn really. And finish packing and meet me and the others in the livingroom by ten."

"Yeah, sure." She gets to finish packing I walk out and to May's room whose door is wide open.

"Hey, May you done packing?" I ask.

"Almost." She says.

"Good, meet me and the girls at ten in the livingroom I have something to discuss with you." I then walk off to Shawna's room. I knock on the door no answer, I peek my head in to see her still asleep but she is packed. I shake her awake.

"Hey, time to get up it's almost eight."

"Oh yeah we are leaving today."

"Yeah, meet me and the girls in the livingroom at ten." I say leaving her to wake up.

At ten everyone is ready and I have changed into my work clothes, and gotten my whole team in their's.

"Okay girls, I was just given the heads up that Elena Stone will be joining us. And that I am now Captain Teal Flame of the International police, the promotion was given to me this morning."

"Congrats Bri but what does that mean for us, and why are you and your team in suits and vests?" Sere asks.

"Thanks. Also good question well with her with us my tone will be more formal than I normally am, and I decided to warn you all since the chief of the International police will probably surprise us in the helicopter, that's also why we are wearing our work clothes. This way we show them we take our jobs seriously." I finish explaining everything just in time to hear the helicopter blades spinning I signal everyone to follow me, we walk outside and Ms. Paige is just about to walk down the steps of the helicopter I jog over and lift my hand so she uses me for support.

"Greetings it's a pleasure to meet you Ms. Paige." I kneel, as my team follows. "This is my team Sparks, Incineroar, Lycanroc, Arcanine, Lucario, Aggron, Aura, Alpha, Mudkip, Absol, and Eevee." I gesture to each of them as I speak, she walks up and scratches Sparks under her chin, then does the same to Eevee.

"The pleasure is all mine Captain. Your many deeds should have gotten you to this position at least a year ago. So it's a pleasure to have you on my team, so is everyone ready to go?" She asks I turn to look behind me to see Incineroar, Lucario, and Aggron have grabbed everyone's luggage and Leo has mine and Lexi's.

"Yes Ma'am seems so." I say and walk over to Leo and give him a quick kiss before taking our luggage from him. "Lexi say bye to Daddy we are going to be gone for a little while." I say she runs up to him and he takes her into his arms and he kisses her forehead.

"Be good sweetheart and have fun." He says as he sets her down and we all load into the helicopter.
