Chapter 34

Bri's pov. Tuesday, October 9th

I yawn as I wake up, to see the eyes of the girls looking at me and Lillie, I blink a few times.

"Uhhh, can I help you." I say groggy as Lillie wakes up. She jumps as she sees the girls.

"It's It's not what it looks like." Lillie says.

'Shoot this isn't good' I think to myself standing up off the bed seeing Incineroar, Arcanine, and Lycanroc at the door with confused faces.

"Lillie are you cheating on Gary?" Mallow asks.

"No, no I was just..." she trails off.

"No, she wasn't cheating on master Gary, she just wanted me to stay last night, I will not disclose her rezoning seeing as its not my place." I say.

"Oh be quiet mister, you have no place in this." Dawn says I stay silent as I walk over to the only camra and mic in the room and shut them off.

'I have to reveal myself there is no point in Lillie getting bombarded with questions.' I think as I take my blue contacts out and attempt to make myself look normal as they keep asking Lillie questions. "Guys, It's me." I say they all gasp.

"Bri, okay I'm confused whats going on." Mallow says.

"I know I have a lot of explaining to do." I say they all sit on one of the couches in Lillie's room as I take the liberty of locking Lillie's room door. I then go to join them. "Alright I'll start from the beginning, it was back before I joined the pokemon school that I joined the international police...

Flashback

I just finished my final grand trial finishing all my trials in three months time, I was walking back to the docks when I was stopped by a middle aged man who forced a letter into my hands before continuing to walk like nothing happened, I looked and the letter was addressed to me. 'Odd' I thought as I opened the letter. 'Dear Bri, the international police need your help, we are in need of a strong trainer in Alola to guard Kalos champion Diantha, and Kalos Queen Aria during their stay in Alola. We have done a background check on you and your family, and your uncle Kyle on your mother's side works for us and told me you would be a good candidate for this mission should you choose to accept it, meet me in room one of the motel on Akala island. Signed the International police.' The letter says. 'Okay, why not.' I think to myself as I whistle for Charizard who comes and gets me dropping me off at the motel Sparks on my shoulder I walk up to the door and knock the door opens to reveal the same middle aged man who bumped into me earlier.

... So that's what happened and how I was recruited to the international police." I explain as the girls listen in aww.

"So why were you undercover?" Lana asks.

"Because the public isn't supposed to know our true identities, due to the fact our friends and family could be used against us, I personally have two male identities and three female, not including my civilian identity. On that note you all can't tell a soul about this, even my brothers. Got it?" I say.

"Of course, we're just glad you told us about this, if you are ever going out, just tell us and we'll help cover you from the guys." Serena says as the others nod I smile.

"Alright now let me change back Lil you mind if I use your restroom to do so?" I ask.

"Go ahead." She says I quickly shower and get changed into my suit and style my hair, lucky I kept my aura changed while doing so, thats one of the things Ash and Red don't know is possible. I then walk over to the camera.

"No word of what just happened after I turn this on." I say they nod as I get back into character and turn the camera and mic back on. "Nothing to report. All are safe." I say the camera moves up then down signifying a nod. I turn and face the girls. "We should be getting you all to breakfast. Before the rest of the class gets suspicious." I say, we step out of the room to let Lillie get ready before we all leave together, Lillie stops me. "Lucario, Laron please escort them to the dinning room." I say as I stop to face Lillie. "What is it, Lillie?" I ask keeping up my persona.

"You mentioned you are part time and recruted by my mother, what's the real reason your here?" She wispers in my ear. I create a temporary link to her mind.

"Here this is now a safe space to speak about this." I say in her mind guiding her to a bench nearby. "This is what aura guardians and pcychic users call mind link it allows us to speak in our minds keeping this all secret from wandering ears, I'm here because someone who I can not disclose, knows there is a darkness in the Ather foundation, they are working with team Skull but, as I've witnessed since I got here its not in the way I assumed, I believe there is a traitor, that is after your mother, and is planning to take out everyone above them, till they are the leader of the Ather foundation, so I got the job to find out. Can you think of anyone who fits the description of a traitor?" I ask in the link hopeful for a lead.

"No... not that I kn- Faba, he's been vengeful since I was a kid, going as far as attacking me because I found out something that I shouldn't have." Lillie says through the link breaking down from a harsh memory that was projected to me, Faba attacking her and last minute her brother saving her she starts shaking due to the memory and her sobbing. I break the link and hug her.

"I'm sorry you had to go through that Lil, I will personally make sure he gets reprocessed for that, just so you know I saw your memory of it through your point of view. He will pay for that wether he is the traitor or not." I say aloud breaking character, then her stomach growls. "Lillie we should get you to breakfast before the others start to worry." I say wiping her tears with a handkerchief then offer her a hand. We walk into the dinning room everyone looks to Lillie worried Gary marches up to me thinking I did something as Lillie stops him.

"Gary he didn't do anything he helped me." Lillie says stopping him, and grabs his arm about to lead him back to the table.

"Miss Lillie, I would actually like to speak to master Gary for a minute." I say she nods letting him go as I walk outside knowing he is following me. Once we are outside I speak again.
