Chapter 40

Bri's pov. December, 26th Part 1

I yawn as I wake up, snuggled into Leo, with him running a hand through my hair.

"Good morning Beautiful." He says with a husky voice, making me blush. I give him a quick kiss.

"Mornin' handsome." I say as I get up, he gets up and wraps his arms around my waist we quietly walk out of the room into the kitchen where coffee is already made we both make a cup and sit in the living room cuddling watching the news.

"Next on poke 7, last night Team Rainbow Rocket, attacked Kauna Olivia's shop on Akala island, and stole precious stones, some of them being fossils for some rare pokemon." The ancor says as my watch starts to beep, I answer.

"Agent Teal Flame, reporting for duty." I say saluting the watch.

"Who is that next to you Bri?" Looker asks.

"My boyfriend and pink aura, Leo he knows everything so we are fine." I say he nods.

"Well it's nice to meet you, Leo. Anyway by now I'm sure you have heard about the robbery on Akala, I'd like for you to go check it out, use 'Detective Flame as your identity please, we have already told Olivia your on your way." Looker says.

"Sir, if I may ask could I join her?" Leo asks.

"That's Bri's choice but, considering you're her mate, I would like to welcome you to the international police, son. Either way Bri could you bring him by after this mission, though you know if you choose to bring him on this mission he will need an undercover identity." Looker says.

"Leo, I'm fine with it lets get ready, though you have to come up with your identity now." I say.

"What about Deputy Lion." He says.

"Sounds good to me, son. I'll see you both soon. Looker out." Looker says. I bring Leo back to my room and lock the door.

"Alright first things first, I would advise only to bring half your team with you due, to the fact we could run into people who know us and it would be suspicious if we had the same teams. Lucario, Sparks, Incineroar, you're with me, I am going undercover as Detective Flame, so Sparks you're Spark for this." She nods.

"Alright Voltage, Sceptile, Pyroar, you three are coming with me. Voltage can you go by Volt for this please?" Leo asks he nods. I drag them into the walk in closet, I grab a sign that says 'out will be back later.' I hang it on the door then lock it. I then help Leo and his team choose outfits, luckily my male outfits fit him.

"Why do you have so many guys clothes?" He asks.

"I have two male identities, Brian Willow, and Blaze Phoenix. And three female Detective Blaise Flame, Alya Oran, and Isa Tyrus. If you want we can add on the fact that Detective Flame and Deputy Lion are dating." I say getting into my outfit a tight fiting light blue shirt with a dark blue pantsuit and matching tie, my badge on the outside, Sparks wears a vest with her badge, so do Incineroar and Lucario. I attached a badge to Leo's suit, Voltage's vest, Sceptile's and Pyroar's. "Alright we are ready." I walk out of the closet. "Guys protect everyone please?" Both my team and Leo's nod. "Alright Incineroar, Lucario return." I say then hook them to my belt.

"Sceptile, Pyroar return." Leo says then hooks his pokeballs to his belt. I then lead him to the back of my closet to a secret passage way, we are quickly outside. I whistle and Charizard comes and retrieves us, I quickly disguise our auras. We are outside of Olivia's shop within minutes. We get off and thank Charizard. We then let out our teams his flank him mine flank me. Sceptile walks to his right, and Pyroar to his left. While Incineroar walks to my left and Lucario to my right. So that Sceptile and Incineroar can hold hands. We quicken our pace I knock on the shop door to be greeted by one of her employees.

"Detective Flame, and Deputy Lion, of the international police reporting for duty." I say showing her my badge, she nods and leads us up to Olivia's office, she lets us in then leaves.

"Ah, Kahuna Olivia, I am Detective Flame and this is my partner Deputy Lion, we were sent here because of the robbery that happened last night, could you tell us what happened?" I ask.

"Well I was sleeping and awoke to rustling downstairs so I went to check it out, and saw four people with rainbow Rs on the back of their shirts running out with full arms, I released my Lycanroc and we chased them for awhile before we lost them, we then came back here and took inventory to find that twenty Z-rings were missing, twenty sets of Z-crystals, all ten of my mega rings were gone along with the keystones, and all the megastones I own, five sets of evolution stones, and ten fossils were gone." She says.

"I see so they stole most of your stock and any of those in the wrong hands could be a disaster, do you have anything they left behind that could have their scent on it?" Leo asks she nods and slips into the back, and comes back with one of their jackets and hands it to Leo. "Pyroar can you pick up the scent?" Leo asks he nods.

"Thank you, Kahuna we will get your missing stones back." I say following Leo and Pyroar out the door. We follow it to the edge of Akala island to a cave Pyroar jumps into the cave it is extremely dark.

"Lucario an aura light for a minute please?" I say as I dig in my backpack for a special lantern powered py aura a small aura sphere can power it for a week and to put it out all I have to do is absorb it. I relese one into it and it lights the whole section of the cave, we walk for a while till we get to a metal door. With all of us working together we force the door open, we sneek in and around, I eventually start to feel the power of the mega stones and lead the way till an office.

"My Daughter has finally left her friends, Caleb, Jace take your teams and capture Serena Yvonne." A voice says.
