Y/n's POV

After Namjoon kissed me that day, I tried to avoid him since. We met several times to practice our speech, but I couldn't look him in the eyes.

As for Yoongi, I continued to hang out with him as if nothing happened. We had become close but nothing more than just friends.

~Graduation Day~

I stood at the podium, "Today is our last day all together. Our days together, have been great. We made a lot of memories, whether it was getting in trouble or doing something special for one another. I hope that you all use the information that we have acquired together, not only educationally, but also, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Every step we take from today will be because we were here together. I would like to thank everyone that stayed by my side and even thank those who were not so kind to me because everything is a lesson, so thank you everyone for making me stronger and for making me who I am."

Namjoon stared at me the whole time with a goofy smile on his face. During his speech, I just stood awkwardly next to him.

He held my hand, "Let us all continue to grow together."

After graduation, I was greeted by many classmates and we exchanged goodbyes. My parents have left to start the graduation party, I was about to leave to when I bumped into Jackson.

Shit. Just walk away like it wasn't you.

Jackson turned around and my eyes widened, while his eyes softened. "Y/n, I am so sorry," He said as he puts his hands on my shoulders.

"I was horrible to you. I was insecure and stupid, and I should have never treated you that way."

"Didn't I say to stay away from her...?" I heard someone behind me growl.

We both turned to see a scary Jaebum.

"I—" Jackson started to say.

"He was just apologizing actually. Not that it was any of your business." I snapped.

He looked hurt.

"I'm sorry. You were just trying to be—"

He embraced me, tears falling onto my graduation gown. "I'm sorry for what I did to you. I should have tried harder to fight for you."

I didn't respond, I didn't even hug him back.

He lets go of me after a few minutes of an awkward one-sided hug. I told them both that it was okay, and I had to get going.

This day was unexpectedly weird, in a good way, I suppose.

I head towards Yoongi's car to wait for him. We're supposed to go to my apartment to help my parents prepare for the party.

When we arrive, confetti popped out and I could feel my heart fall into the pit of my stomach. "Congratulations, graduates!!!" a sign across the living room said. Yoongi, my classmates, and my parents got into a group hug with me directly in the middle.

"Congratulations to everyone!" my dad screamed. When the group hug was over, I pulled my parents into my bedroom.

"Eomma, Appa. I think I know what I'm going to do now." They looked confused.

"The marriage...?"

I continued. "I want to make my own decisions and I know who I want. I want..."
