Clyde's POV
I'm carrying all these stuffed animals and they're kinda getting heavy. I looked at my watch and it was already five o'clock. I decided to head back home. As I got in my house, I felt so tired and lazy. Instead of cooking, I just fixed myself a cup noodle and ate it. I was about to sleep when I remembered that there was a lot of student council work that had to be done. I took a deep breath and opened my laptop. I heard barking again. "PLEASE, CHUBS SHUT UP! I WILL NOT FEED YOU IF YOU KEEP ON BARKING!" He immediately stopped barking at me. I started doing the paper works as fast as I could in order for me to get some rest. I started to feel sleepy and as I looked at my watch, I realized it was already ten o'clock. I saved the files but I didn't get the chance to turn off my laptop. I fell asleep.
Next day
Clyde's POV
I woke up. looked at the window, and noticed it was still dark outside. I checked my watch and it was only three-fifty in the morning. I couldn't sleep anymore so I decided to finish the remaining council work, but my laptop was dead. I plugged it in, rinsed my face and decided to jog.
As I was jogging in a nearby park, I saw some oranges lying on the ground. It made a trail. I didn't want to follow it because I have watched enough horror movies to know where this was going. However, still thinking like an idiot, I picked them up one by one. As I was about to pick up the last one, I saw a lady picking up the oranges around her. I approached her.
"Miss, do you need some help?"
She jumped at the sound of my voice...who wouldn't? I wasn't able to wear my mask this time because it was early and I was running.
"Thank you darling," she said. She picked up the remaining oranges on the ground and I followed her.
"I didn't know that there are still boys like you in this world, not to mention, handsome, and the snob type to help me."
"There are still a lot of boys who are better than me," I said.
We stopped in front of a house and she invited me in. I was hesitant at first, but I thought she couldn't carry all these oranges. She needed help. I decided to go with her. There was a small gate at the house entrance which was locked. She was struggling to find her keys.
"What's your name darling?"
"Clyde Rubio miss."
"Don't call me miss. I'm already married and have kids," she laughed.
"My name is Colette."
"Pleasure to meet you mis... ma'am. I should get going now."
"Why leave so soon? I know you haven't had breakfast yet, so stay here." I thought it was embarrassing to refuse.
"I'm sorry but I'm soaking with sweat."
"You could use the restroom there and take a shower. I'll lend you a towel and some of my husband's clothes."
Well this is awkward. I remembered that I was wearing a pouch. When I opened it, I saw that I brought a pair of boxers. I didn't know if I should be thankful or ashamed, I mean, 'why the hell am I carrying one?!' I don't even know how it got there.
"Here's a towel and shorts. Don't worry about the clothes because my husband..." she sighed, "my ex-husband is out of the picture."
"Thank you ma'am and sorry. I'll be taking a shower now."
As I entered the restroom, I looked at my watch. It was already six o'clock. I needed to get home as soon as possible. I took a quick shower, then changed clothes. I noticed that the shorts were too short for me and there was no shirt. So, I'm topless as of the moment and I could hear ma'am Colette talking to someone. I was to come out of the restroom, but I was inside for almost thirty minutes already. So, I opened the door.
"Ma'am, I think I forgot the shirt."
When I got out the door, I was so shocked with the person I saw and knew from her reaction that she was shocked as well. I'm not talking about Ma'am Colette... yes, I'm talking about Nicole Flores!
