Clyde's POV

I went to the evening practice of the basketball team. This time, Angelo was on the opposing team. I guarded him and he wasn't able to score. We both laughed for awhile.

"You still got it, prez!" Angelo said.

"Yeah! But you wore me down." I replied.

"Looks like you're in your competitive form again."

"I hope so."

Then, the coach whistled. The practice was over. The team was getting better and better. I packed my things and went home.

The Next Day

Nicole's POV

Monday! Hate this day of the week... but not today, because we don't have classes. I think I need to pay Clyde a visit, for my bad behavior yesterday. I didn't even speak to him and that makes me feel kinda bad.

I walked past the corridors. There were all sorts of decorations. There were drawings of 3D Rubik's Cubes posted on the walls. There were a lot of eagle origami connected in a line on the roof. The art club really did their thing.

I looked at the window and I saw that they were pulling something in the middle of the school. It was covered so I couldn't see what it was exactly, but it was big.

When they revealed it, it was the school's mascot! A stallion! The best part about it that it was it was a big origami. Wow I need to learn origami.

I took a peak in my club room. They were decorating the classroom with chess pieces. It was a pretty sight. Took a peak on Violet's club room. She was in the music club. There were a lot of musical decorations. Violet saw me and she just waved at me. I waved back. Now I'll go to his office, I thought. I walked up to the third floor, then I knocked on his door. I hope he's in.

"Who is it?"

"It's me, Nicole."

He opened the door. I saw him with his hair messy, but he still looked good. He was wearing his jacket as usual. I could smell his perfume. He smelled nice.

"What do you need?"

"Can I come in?"

"Well, sure."

I followed him inside his office and... damn! His office is huge. There was even a restroom inside. There was a couch, an air conditioner and a closet.

"Name your business, Miss Flores," he said.

"Well, I just checked on you and I'm sorry that I didn't pay attention to you yesterday. I just feel guilty, I guess."

"It's fine. If that's all, then you can go now," he said this in a stern voice.

So cranky so early in the morning, jeez.

I headed towards the door. I turned the knob, then suddenly, Clyde held my hand. I looked at him and saw his face... grim.

Clyde's POV

I held her hand because I needed to tell her something.

"Nicole, wait."

"What is it now?"

"You have blood stain on your skirt."

"What?!"

She locked the door and tried to look at the back of her skirt.

"No.. no.. no.. this can't be happening right now."

"Just sit down..." wait, she might leave a stain on the sofa. Damn it. No choice but to lend her my jacket. My jacket was white. Talk about timing. I took off my jacket and placed it on top of the sofa.
