Nicole's POV

It's foundation day! I left for school early today. As I got inside the campus, I was surprised to see that Violet was already here. We waved at each other.

"Nicole, let's eat breakfast first then head to the gym after," Violet said.

"That's a good idea. So we would be near the playing court," I said.

We went to the canteen to eat breakfast. The canteen was quite crowded. Also, I noticed that there were so many buses from Saber here. I looked to my right and saw Saberians. What's happening? I heard the Saber students on the other table talking.

"We will see Clyde again!"

"Yes! I miss him so much!"

What?! Don't tell me he lied to me! I didn't realize that I was squeezing on my water bottle really hard.

"Nicole! Your water bottle might pop," Violet said.

"Oh, sorry."

"What has gotten into you?"

"Nothing."

"Nicole, you're freaking me out. Let's just go to the gym."

"Good idea."

As we got outside, we saw the Saber varsity heading to the gym. I saw our cheerleaders practicing outside. I saw another Saber bus parked near the gym. As we got near the bus, the door suddenly opened. Saber cheerleaders came pouring out of the bus, and all of them were pretty, I might add.

"Nicole!"

Who could that be? I turned around and saw Alex in his white and blue jersey. I'll be honest. He was fine.

"Hey Alex. You ready?" I asked.

"Yes! Cheer for me, okay," he said as he winked at me.

We got inside the gym. It was full. I saw Alice sitting near the bench of our varsity team. She waved at us and gestured for us to come over.

"Here, sit beside me, the both of you," Alice said.

"Thank you, Miss Alice," Violet said.

As we took out seats, I looked at Miss Alice. She looked really worried.

"Miss Alice, why are you shaking?" I asked.

"Well, you see, this might be the last time I see Clyde wearing a jersey. So, I want to capture every second of it," she simply said.

I could see that She was avoiding my question. She's worried for some reason. Why?

"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, are you ready?!" the announcer said.

There was a sudden uproar.

"YES! WE ARE!"

"Without further ado, I will now introduce the line up of Saber High School!"

"SABER! SABER! SABER!

"Wearing jersey number Seventeen, Leo Heart!"

We saw the player running towards the center court. He called out so many players.

"AND NOW... THE CAPTAIN, THE TYRANT,... ALEX SALAZAR!"

Alex trotted to the court like a stallion in an equestrian showmanship event.

"ALEX! ALEX! ALEX!"

"Alex is still this popular to the girls," Alice said.

"AND NOW... THE PLAYERS OF CANOTONA!"
