Clyde's POV

"Why are you here?" I asked.

Then the principal replied, "Saber School is quite far from here, Clyde, you know that. So the principal of Saber, sir Lax, asked me if I can let them stay in the dorm until our exhibition match this Friday."

"And you didn't tell me?!" I was furious.

"Why are you mad, Clyde? Don't you want to have a chat with your former teammates? Oh, and by the way, you will accompany Alex in his dorm... just for one night. Doesn't matter when."

I turned around and walked towards the door. As I got out, I slammed the door behind me. Nicole... I looked at my watch. It was already three o'clock. I made a rule not to run in the corridors. I just broke it.

I ran as fast as I could to the library. When I got there, she was not around. Where could she be?! Don't tell me... I walked calmly back and forth. 'Think Clyde, think.' Where could she possibly be? She was in my office at two o'clock. She might be at the canteen.

I walked to the canteen. I passed by some students who were raising the mascots up in the middle of the school.

"Good afternoon prez! Do you like it?" one of the students asked.

"Yes, it's good. Don't overdo yourselves. The weather is hot. You should all take a break," I said.

"Thanks, prez! Here, prez, take this," she handed me a water bottle.

"Thank you."

I continued walking to the canteen. When I got there I scanned the entire place. Bingo! There she is... with Alex?!

I squeezed the water bottle so tight, it burst. I walked towards them. When I got to the their table, Alex was a little bit surprised.

"Yow, Clyde! How are you?"

"I'm not good! Hey, Miss Flores! I told you that I don't want you to be late when I'm tutoring you!" I exclaimed.

Nicole looked pale. Apparently, I made a scene inside the canteen.

"Hey Clyde, you shouldn't shout at Nicole."

"Don't say her name so casually, Alex!"

I grabbed Nicole's hand and dragged her outside.

As we got out, I interrogated her, "Why were you with him?!"

"Clyde... it.. hur..hurts."

I didn't realize I was squeezing her wrist tightly. I immediately let go.

"Sorry. Let's go."

I pulled her again by the arm. When we got to our spot in the library, I noticed she was still holding her hand.

"I don't want you to go near Alex while I'm tutoring you, got it?"

"Why? He seems nice."

I was shocked. I couldn't say, 'I just don't want you to fall for him.' Like... how could I say that?! Knowing Alex, he already has a plan. I also noticed that she had a bruise on her wrist.

"That's one of my rules. If you don't like it, then find another tutor."

"Alright, cranky Clyde."

"I'm sorry about your wrist."

"No problemo."

I was a bit surprised. She's more cooperative than usual.

"So what subjects would you like to study?"
