I was sitting in my dorm. Ginny and Emily were both there. Hermione, Harry, and Ron had not shown up for school this year. It was April 28, 1998. I was in a school that was run by Professor Snape. I was trying to heal some of my bruises when Neville started shouting up the stairs.

"Everyone! Get downstairs and meet me in the Common Room, now!"

We all rushed downstairs. Everyone from the old DA was here. Except for me. I joined earlier this year, when we could still risk meeting in secret.

"Everyone," he whispered. "Follow me. I have a safe house for you all."

"What about the night watch?" a first year girl asked.

"I took care of them," Dean Thomas butted in. "Now hurry up, let's go."

Everyone marched out of the Tower and down the hall. We walked all the way to the Room of Requirement.

Inside there were enough hammocks for the whole school. There was also a tunnel in the back of the room, half covered by a painting.

"Pick a hammock everyone," he said. I walked over to a corner of the room and sat in a hammock. Ginny and Emily took hammocks beside me.

"I'm going to go get more people," Neville said. "There is a bathroom in the corner, behind that door. Don't leave unless you are discovered. If you are, escape through the tunnel. Close the painting behind you. I'll be back."

I was having flashbacks from when I was in hiding from Umbridge. I hoped the same results did not happen this time.

Ginny must have noticed what I was thinking. "Umbridge is gone," she said. "Nothing bad will happen to you. I promise."

"I hope so," I responded. "I can't go through that again."

Throughout the days, more people arrived. Whether it was Neville scouting out more students, or Aberforth sending runaway Muggle-borns to us through the tunnel. Eventually, the room began to expand. There were more hammocks and more bathrooms. Almost every student was hiding in here now.

Finally, the three people I had been waiting for showed up through the tunnel on May 2nd. Harry, Ron, and Hermione. I ran to all of them, Ginny right behind me. I barreled straight into Hermione, almost choking her to death. Ginny barreled straight into Ron and Harry.

Hermione hugged me back. She looked exhausted. I released her and went after Harry.

"I missed you all so much!" I exclaimed. "You don't understand how horrible this year has been."

Emily had now walked over. She hugged Hermione, and Hermione took in the bruises and cuts all over the three of us.

"Now I have my own battle scars," Emily said. Her tone was half hearted.

"We have to get ready to fight," Harry said. "You Know Who is coming here. And he wants war. So he's going to get it."

Molly, Fred, George, Percy, and Bill all showed up through the tunnel. Ginny ran for her mother, and George ran for me.

"I missed you love," he said, trapping me in a hug.

"I missed you too George." He brought me into a kiss.

"Oi, get a room you two!" Ron shouted at me.

I broke away for a second. "I am in a room you arse!" George kissed me again. I could hear Ron sighing from behind George.

All too soon, McGonagall walked in. George and I broke apart before she saw us, but I could still feel the blush rising in my cheeks.

"Everyone who is under sixth year, please evacuate the school through the main entrance. Please then walk to Hogsmeade, and find shelter in the building around town. All citizens have been notified, and will welcome you with open arms. If you are a sixth or seventh year and do not wish to fight, please evacuate with the younger children."

Every single sixth and seventh year stayed behind. Even Emily stayed behind.

"Miss Malfoy, you are not old enough to fight. Please evacuate with everyone else."

"I mean no disrespect Professor, but I am not leaving," she said. "I am more than willing to fight my family."

McGonagall toyed with a smile. It was sad. "If you must stay Miss Malfoy, go ahead."

Everyone followed McGonagall out of the room. She assigned us all stations, and we started building a shield. We all worked together, and the shield began to work it's way above the castle. From where I was, I could see the students fleeing to Hogsmeade.

Once the shield was up, the professors stayed behind to keep it up. The rest of us moved into the castle, getting ready. We were waiting for no less than 10 minutes, when a voice ricocheted through the castle.

"I wish not to hurt any of you," the demon himself started. "Which is why I am giving you one hour to turn in Harry and Gwenyth Potter. If you fail to comply, I will be forced to release my Death Eaters upon you. Your hour starts now."

People looked in my direction. I could hear people shouting to give us up. They were quickly shut up by everyone else.

I stood on a window sill, above everyone else. "Hey!" I yelled. "I am Gwenyth Potter. I am aware that some of you wish to turn in my brother and I. Are you really willing to stoop as low as to become a traitor to everyone here? If you don't want to risk your life for the entire Wizarding World, then the door is over there. If not, be ready to fight."

Nobody left. Everyone silently agreed to band together to fight the Death Eaters. We waited for the hour, until Voldemort voice spoke again.

"I have only one of the twins," At these words, a piece of me collapsed. "You failed to bring me the other one. They are coming."

I armed myself with my wand. We all formed a wall of students, ready to fight. The Death Eaters began their march. The attacked the shield endlessly, until it failed. They all came charging towards us. I was the first to throw a curse. I petrified a Death Eater.

"Kill as little as you can!" I shouted. "They will pay for what they have done to my brother!"

The curses started flying. I saw students dropping all around me. Everyone was running around. We were all fighting someone. I was eventually chased towards the back of the school by a Death Eater.

"Bellatrix," I said. "Fancy meeting you again. I heard you almost killed my godfather."

She cackled like the witch she is. "It's a shame I didn't. I was about to enjoy his death. But instead, I will enjoy yours."

"I would like to see you try." We dueled back and forth. I eventually disarmed her.

I had the curse on my tougne. She was going to be as stiff as a useless plank of wood. I heard something crack behind me. I turned around and cursed Crowley.

When I turned back around, Bellatrix was staring me down. "AVADA KEDAVRA!"

The last thing I saw was the bright green light flashing before my eyes.
