Today was the day. Today was the day we were going to defy Umbridge and the entire Ministry. And we were going to make a huge difference.

I was walking to meet everyone at the Shrieking Shack, the taste of butterbeer in my mouth. I already had gone to Honeyduke's, just in case I needed to bribe anyone with candy.

Once I started up the hill, I could here Hermione talking. It sounded like she was scolding someone. What a surprise there.

When I got up the hill, I saw a huge group milling around. I immediately made a beeline for Hermione.

"What are you doing?!" I whispered aggressively into her ear. "Why is everyone out front?!"

"You don't have to whisper,"  she replied. "I've been sending people two at a time to the back so we..."

"Let me handle this," I interrupted. I walked to the front of the pod, and started counting people off.

"One, two, three, four, five, six, you guys all go to the back." I waited until they were around the building. "One, two, three, four, five, six, you go."

I continued this until Hermione and I were the only ones left. I couldn't help but notice how my idiot brother, Ron, and the twins weren't here yet.

"Where are the idiots?" I asked.

"If you mean us, then we're behind you." I jumped as Fred and George appeared behind me. "We just had to go to Zonko's first."

"Get around back. Have either of you seen our idiot brothers?"

"Yep. They were just behind us." As if summoned, the two appeared behind the twins.

"Everyone, let's go," I said, my patience dwindling.

Hermione made her way around back, and she got to the front of the group. Harry and Ron followed suit, but I made my way to the back.

It was hard to hear Hermione from where I was. She just mumbled the whole time. And Harry was a little louder, but I wasn't listening. People were just spewing off his accomplishments, and that pissed me off more than anything. I was just about to start a rant in my head when I heard something else.

"This can't clash with Ravenclaw's quidditch practices," said Cho, Ravenclaw's seeker.

          "Nor with our's," I shouted.

"Not with Hufflepuff's either," added Zacharias Smith, probably the only Hufflepuff who was known to be an arsehole.

"I'm sure we can find a time that works for everyone," Hermione sputtered. "But this is extremely important, as we need to learn how to defend ourselves from Voldemort."

"Well said!" Ernie Macmillan barked. He started his own rant, and I just about wanted to smack him. He was probably the most prideful and arrogant Hufflepuff.

By then, I had just completely zoned out. If this is the group I was supposed to work with, I was going to go ballistic.

"Where are we going to meet?" I heard Hermione ask. I knew the perfect place.

"The Room of Requirement," I shouted. Everyone looked at me like I was nuts. "It is a room that will only be found when you truly need it. Clearly, we need it."

Everyone started nodding in agreement. I watched as Hermione pulled a parchment out of her bag.

"I think everyone should sign this, so we know who to notify of our first meeting."
