18. Shawn

"Well how do you feel?"

The girls and I stayed at this nice air bnb in Greece. I didn't want to leave, Greece really was beautiful. The sun and the ocean, the beautiful buildings. And the people are just beautiful and nice. I didn't want to go and know that this place was waiting for me.

That's one of the things I love and hate about being a traveler. I love visiting new places and seeing different cultures. I loved seeing the ruins and old historic buildings. I loved seeing the world and all it had to offer. The thing I hated is I never wanted to leave anywhere. I wanted to live everywhere.

Today was our last day in Greece and the girls and I decided we'd spend it on a boat. We seen there were some people willing to drive us a little ways out in the water. We hadn't done that yet since we've been here so we didn't see why not. Do it for our late day.

"Ready for our last day?" Jess asked as she prepared us breakfast.

We were already dressed for the day but we only needed to eat. Jess also made the best breakfast. The rest of the girls and I sat at the table where she was setting down the food. She made some vegan and some regular for those who aren't.

We all sat around eating together and talked about the things we did.

"Ugh I don't want to leave." Lauren said before eating a piece of fruit.

I shook my head, "Neither do I."

"It's so beautiful, a good vacation." Camila added.

"A much needed vacation especially without distractions." Jaime said before she went back to eating.

I nodded but didn't add anything to that. We finished eating and cleaned up before heading out. The sun was high up in the sky and the warmth was bearable. I was used to this kind of heat, or even hotter than this.

When we got to the boat we paid the owner for renting it. We had each chipped because we realized it was pretty expensive. Once we paid we boarded the boat and found our way towards the front. The owner had the boat set up with blankets and drinks for us, the people of Greece really were kind.

We opened a bottle of champagne and toasted as the boat started moving.

"To us and the beautiful last few days in Greece." Camila toasted.

"To Greece!" The rest of the girls and I said as we clicked our glasses.

The boat came to a stop and I looked around to be surrounded by beautiful blue water. The boat wasn't too off from shore but just enough to look back at the beautiful buildings.

"Who wants to jump in?" Jaime asked.

Jess and Lauren jumped up with excitement. They looked at me and Camila.

"I'll go in a little." I told them.

"Same." Camila said.

They shrugged, "Alright."

We then seen the three girls jump off the boat holding hands. I had managed to get it on my phone which would be cute for when we're reminiscing about our time here.

"So, how've you been doing?" Camila asked me out of nowhere.

I looked over at her with a confused face, "What do you mean?"

"Well I mean I haven't had the chance to ask you privately how you've been doing. Since everything with your dad and.." She stopped and I knew exactly who she was referring to.

"You mean since I broke up with Shawn?" I asked.

She nodded, "Yeah I know I didn't ask and just wanted to see how you were doing."

"I um, I don't know I guess it's been fine. We haven't really talked, shocking I know." I said sarcastically.

"So you guys ended it on good terms?" Camila asked as we laid on the blanket feeling the sun warm us.

I nodded, "Yes I mean he asked if we were still friends."

"How do you feel?" She asked.

I sighed, "I don't know. I'm confused on a lot of things. Like if I wanna stay in the apartment I have. Or what I'm going to do for my next video. I love Shawn, I can't get rid of my feelings for him overnight."

"So if he were to figure things out and realize he's still in love with you. Would you take him back or work back to what you had?" She asked more in depth.

I was a little confused as to why she was asking. I looked to see the girls in the water splashing around and swimming.

"Part of me says yes, I love him that much that I'd run back to him. Then there's my other part that is just so confused. We hadn't been together that long and literally hurt each other. What if we're just not meant to be together? Like he said it himself, maybe we were just meant to be friends." I explained to her.

She nodded, "I get that. Maybe you just need time you know. Maybe you both do, to just figure things out and see if it progresses and hey maybe you two will be at the right place and time in your lives and fall in love."

"Maybe, I mean I hope." I told her.

She gave me a smile, "So what about you and Froy?"

I laughed, "What about me and Froy?"

"Oh you know the flirting on social media." She said before she took a drink of her champagne.

I pulled my knees to my chest and hugged them, "It's nothing. At least I don't see it as anything. We're good friends we don't show it on social media until now. Back I wanna say when Shawn and I went to Europe during the holidays he had commented on one of my posts. We dmed each other and just started talking, we became good friends."

"Does he know that?" She asked.

I shrugged my shoulders, "I don't know. Maybe? Like I said I'm not looking for anything right now. I want to figure things out before I jump into a relationship wether it's with Shawn or someone else. I'm just unsure of a lot of things to be making these decisions."

Camila nodded her head, "Yeah I understand."

"So are we gonna get in the water or what?" I asked as I stood up.

"Yeah enough serious talk." Camila said as we stood up and took off our cover ups.

We then took each other's hand before jumping in the water together. We ended up letting go before we hit the water. I went down then pushed myself back up to the surface. I moved my hair from my face and smiled as I looked at all my best friends. We were happy.

I was finally back to being happy.
