"Yeah you know that we fit together."

Today was my parents big day, it was incredible how fast they planned it all. Then again it wasn't some big fancy wedding. It was just family and friends but still, my mom was the calmest I've ever seen. It could also be the fact that it's not like she's getting married to my dad for the first time.

We sat in my aunts makeup room as I did my mom's makeup. Her hair was already done, she just had her hair down in her natural curls. I always loved my mom's hair it reminded me of Tori Kelly's. My mom said the only way she got them like that was by shaving her head when she was smaller. And well I'm too scared to do that so I guess I'll only be able to admire from afar.

"Has he called?" My mom asked breaking the silence.

I hesitated with the eyeliner not wanting to mess up, "No."

"You gave him the correct information right?" She asked me.

"Mom can you stop moving I really don't want to mess this up," I told her and so she stopped, "But yes I did give him the correct information."

I then finished the eyeliner before starting on the foundation. I was already done with my makeup and hair so I was taking my time with my mom's.

She opened her eyes and looked at me, "And how are you doing?" She asked me.

I laughed, "Mom were not dating, we're back to being friends. Therefore I am not going to be hurt if he decides to show up or not."

"Hun-"

"Mom please, let me just finish your makeup and get you to the church on time." I told her with a smile.

She nodded and let me continue doing her makeup without bringing up Shawn. Once we were all done and ready we all left to the church. The ceremony was just like every other wedding ceremony except less extravagant. It was sweet and simple, and still no shawn.

After my parents renewed their vows we headed off to the ranch. It was only 20 minuets from the church so we got there pretty quick. My uncle who owns a restaurant was already there cooking the food. Everything looked beautiful and green, I'm talking about lanterns hanging and every table having a bouquet of pink roses mixed with jasmines. My grandma's favorite flowers that grow by the house.

Everything looks nice and rustic, definitely something I imagined for my wedding. I met up with Jaime and sat at the table she was sitting at. My little cousin was already trying to steal her attention with his 'magic' trick. It just involved her having her eyes shut until he told her to open them after he hid whatever it was that he had in his hand.

"Manny can I steal my best friend away please." I asked him.

"Yeah." Was all he said before he went to go look for someone else to perform his magic trick on.

"Your cousin is so cute." She told me as we got up and started walking around.

I laughed, "He's only cute when he wants to be."

We walked over to grab a drink as we watched everyone. My dad and his brothers were around the grill laughing. My mom was with her cousins who came today, she hadn't seen them in so long. My little cousins ran around or walked down a path to go play around.
