"Glad to know we're on the same page."

Shawn just finished up his Perth show. I forgot how much I missed being in the crowd. The chills I get from hearing the crowds all singing in harmony. To feel the beat of the music run through your body. There was nothing like being at a concert, every place is different. But each equally as thrilling and beautiful.

I stayed with the guys by all the lighting and sound equipment. The venue started to empty and we'd see fans taking pictures of us or saying hi. I even walked over to take a few pictures with them. After it cleared we left to go backstage. Once we got back there everyone was already working on clearing the place.

I then felt hands around my waist, my back soon hit a chest. I felt his face next to mine and it caused my heart to speed up. I placed my arms on his holding him tight.

"I wanna do something." Shawn whispered.

I laughed, "Oh yeah? And what's that?" I asked him.

"Come with me." Shawn said as he spun me around till I was facing him.

He was already changed, and his hair was wet. I smiled up at him and nodded. Shawn took my hand in his and we walked onto the stage. The arena was now empty though you can still feel the energy in the room.

"Being up on this stage, it has the best feeling." Shawn spoke.

He had let go of my hand and walked to where he stood today. I wrapped my arms around myself and just watched him. Shawn stood there and looked around the empty arena and I could see the smile forming on his face.

"Tell me more." I said.

Shawn looked back at me before turning back, "It's a feeling you can't forget. Almost like an addiction, you want more and more of this. To perform for thousands and hear them sing your songs. To see a sea of lights, like stars. I could go on and on about how I feel." He said before looking back at me.

I smiled loving how he looked as he described how he felt, "Sounds nice, to be so passionate about something. To be that in love with what you do." I told him.

"You don't feel that way?" He asked as I slowly started walking towards him.

"Yeah, I love what I do. But it's different I guess. Different point of views, different ways of doing what you love. I'm behind a camera and you're in front of thousands of people. It's different." I tried to explain.

Shawn laughed, "I get it."

I looked out and just tried to imagine how it looks with thousands of fans. I closed my eyes and thought back to an hour ago. I opened my eyes and seen it empty.

"Maybe one of these shows I'll bring you up and you'll see it all from my point of view." Shawn told me.

I shook my head, "No it's okay. I can see from the side of the stage, plus I like being in the crowd." I told him.

Shawn walked over to me and grabbed my hand in his. He spun me so my chest was against his. I laughed at his moves, but soon the lights of the arena went off. Though a soft spotlight was over us, I tried to look over where the lights were controlled but couldn't see anyone.
