Vidhi's POV:

Closing up shop alone, I was left with my thoughts, filing patient records as well as my thoughts that were globe-trotting. My chains of thought were broken when I heard my phone's ring echo through the receptionist office. Putting down the files in hand, I rushed off, seeing the caller ID before I pressed to answer,

"Hey! What's up Sabrina?"

"Hey, so remember how we were talking about getting together sometime this weekend...well, today is the day. And...we also all decided that your apartment is the closest for all of us. So...basically make sure the place is ready at 7 pm. Questions?" Sabrina rambled off, not surprising me at all.

"Who is coming? And what do you need me to supply? And what's the dress code?" I inquired, figuring if anyone had everything planned it would be her.

"Helena, Anjali, Priti, and obviously me. Helena is bringing brownies, Anjali is bringing gazpacho, Priti is bringing a variety of samosas, and I'm bringing over cinnamon rolls. So, basically, food that is gonna make us feel like guilty trash afterward. Dress code? Uhm...I'll be over to help you out before everyone else gets there.  See you later!" Sabrina concluded, hanging up before I had a chance to say bye. Typical Sabrina for you.

As I finished filing the rest of the records, I thought about what I could make. Hmmm...maybe I could make some mini cheesecakes. Those are always a hit! After locking all the doors, I headed home to start on those mini oreo cheesecakes.

Sabrina's POV:

Operation Note is officially underway! As I headed to Vidhi's apartment, I wondered if she would react positively or completely freak out. Hopefully the former, I thought as I parked.

As I stood outside her door, I could smell her delectable cheesecake filling, baking. When she opened the door, she was wearing her cupcake apron, her elbow smeared with cream cheese, and Oreo crumbs under her fingernails. Shaking my head, I asked playfully,

"Did the cheesecake attack you?" Sticking her tongue out at me, she responded,

"No, it's just been a while since I've made actual cheesecakes. Let me just take them out of the oven and then you can fix me up. Wait, if it's just the girls coming over, why are we glamming me up?" Vidhi inquired, suspicion evident. Luckily, I had prepared for this question and used her gullible nature to my advantage,

"It's the first girls night in since you've moved back. Obviously, pictures will be taken and posted everywhere. Just in case your future love happens to scroll by," I said aloud, tacking even though he is closer than you think, in my thoughts.

She seemed to believe it, so before she could ponder the reasoning too much, I diverted her attention to the cheesecakes.

"Did you use Ro's recipe for these?"
