Top 10 - Diversity
Vidhi Patel has spent a large part of her childhood immersed in the world of politics. Now, after graduating from medical school and becoming a pediatrician, she has to make life-changing decisions. Get married and go down the pat...
As the night went on, even with the absence of alcohol, everyone got a little less stressed and Vidhi definitely laughed a lot more. There were hilarious dares and truths asked, but we took a little break to enjoy the mini oreo cheesecakes Vidhi had made. Then came a mystery questions game that definitely turned up the laughter and embarrassment.
"Okay, Terrence..." Helena trailed off, whispering the question to me. My eyes widened, knowing there was no other, less embarrassing way to answer this. I was really hoping the spinner landed on no.
"Vidhi," I answered, not even taking a moment to contemplate my answer. Praying to every entity above as the spinner spun must have worked because I did not have to reveal the question to the group.
A few turns later, Vidhi, who was sitting across from me, had her question turning her red, her answer causing my stomach to turn on itself,
"Terrence." To her utter disappointment, the spinner landed on yes, meaning she had to reveal the question. Anjali clapped as she announced the question,
"Out of everyone in the room, if you had to pick one person to be the last people on Earth with, who would you choose?" The girls burst out into "oohs" as I looked at Vidhi hide her blushing face in Anjali's shoulder, as she mumbled out,
"Okay, I think we are done with this game now. Truth or Dare was safer." To save Vidhi from further egging, we agreed and I was the one to start, so I chose Priti,
"Sit in the office chair as I spin you for 30 seconds."
After her dare was completed, she chose Sabrina, who asked Vidhi,
"Truth or Dare?"
"Uh...dare..." Vidhi answered her face a display of uncertainty. Sabrina's face lit up as she dealt the dare,
"Vidhi, I dare you to run for president of the United States." As Sabrina ended the sentence, it was fair to say, 'ish hit the fan. Vidhi's face was one of such shock, she wasn't fully processing what she had just been asked to do. Sabrina added after a moment,
"You don't have to, I have an alternative dare. But you can if you want to." After a minute of shock, Vidhi's response was,
"I take back what I said about Truth or Dare being safer. But I will. I will call up the state chairperson and get an application." Everyone including myself was shocked, we never thought Vidhi would actually go for it.

Fast forward another round, Anjali had chosen Vidhi this time around and Vidhi had chosen dare, her reasoning being,
"I'm already running for president, what else could y'all make me do?" Apparently, Anjali came prepared because her response was,
"Then this shouldn't be a problem...I dare you to kiss Terrence..." Wait, what!? My heart sped up, at the thought of actually kissing her after all these years. But my brain stopped me, Vidhi deserves to have a meaningful first kiss, not just because of a dare. Vidhi looked like a deer in highlights and Anjali asked me,
