Yoongi's POV

It's been a couple days since my first session with my new patient, Jimin, and I've come to learn a lot about his illness. Dr. Kim probably could've figured out how his delusions worked if she had actually put in the time and effort to treat the boy. Instead she used him for money. But karma always comes to bite people in the ass, and she got what she deserved. She was fired from her new job and was deprived of her medical license. Good luck trying to find a job that'll hire an ex-doctor who used a patient with a metal disorder for money. I hope she dies in an alley so no one can find her body until it's too decayed for her to have an open-casket funeral.

I went to the files room where a new secretary had settled in after I got the old one fired. If you just do the things on your job description and follow simple rules you wouldn't get fired. That's literally all it takes. And your ability to cooperate with others, of course.

I walked to the desk where the new secretary sat, transferring data from paper into the online system.  She noticed my presence and stopped what she was doing to smile up at me.

"Good morning, I don't think we've met before. I'm Kim Saeji." She offered her hand, and I shook it for the sake of politeness. Great, another Kim.

"I'm Dr. Min Yoongi. Could I get the file for patient 1027?"

"1, 0, 2, 7..," she said slowly as she typed it into her computer. That's new, I thought they had to manually look for the patients' binder on the shelves but I guess now it's all online. Or maybe it isn't new and the old nurse was just lazy to put the information online that she had to physically find them.

"Oh...I'm sorry but this patient passed away last night."

"I-I'm sorry, what?" I asked, even though I heard every word that came out of her mouth loud and clear.

"He died last night due to alleged suicide... I'm very sorry."

I've treated that patient for three years, I thought he was improving. He was admitted to the hospital for countless attempted suicide, but he never fell through with it because he just wanted help. And he finally came here to get treatment. He shared me his feelings, and I could recall almost everything he told me. I guess sometimes people just can't take it anymore...

"I understand." After a few seconds of silence, Saeji spoke up.

"You can take the time that you were supposed to use to be with your patient to grieve or visit another patient."

"A-Alright. Thank you," I excused myself from the room. My only other patients are Lee Hyungjae and Park Jimin, and I didn't want to deal with crazy, so I'll go to Jimin. Although technically Jimin is crazy, too, he wasn't crazy-crazy to the point where he'd scratch my eyes out without a straight jacket. I could just be his company since I don't see him in the cafeteria with many friends. Any friends. I made my way to the elevator, and as it pulled me to the fifth floor, I leaned back in the corner, my hands gripping the rails. I've never had a patient die on me before. I don't know how I'm supposed to feel.

When the elevator dinged I walked to room E3 and knocked on the door before letting myself in.

"Dr. Min?" I heard a soft voice peep from the right side of the room.

"Good morning, Jimin."

"What are you doing here? Isn't my next session tomorrow?"

"You remembered, good job. And yes, it is, but I just lost a patient so I came to check up on another one."

"Who was it? If I'm allowed to know."

"He actually used to be on this floor. Do you know the one in E-seven?"
