Yoongi's POV
After ending the call with Jimin, I set my phone down on the nightstand beside my bed and plopped back onto my soft mattress. The untouched fibers of the mattress sent coldness all over my back. Goosebumps formed on my arms, and I shivered. This place needs a goddamn heater. Or me and Hoseok need to move out into a nice place. Then that idea lingered in my head. We've lived here...a couple years now? We make more than enough than to live in this crappy place, but we just haven't given the idea of moving much thought.
I pushed myself up and went to go over to Hoseok's room. I stood in front of his red-painted door (because apparently it adds 'life' to the place) with the words 'Hope World' carefully painted upon it as well to title his room, and knocked it. Waiting several seconds, footsteps approached the door, the knob turning until the whole door was swung back to reveal Hoseok.
"What's up?" He said, shifting his weight on one foot, his arms extended and his hands gripping his door frame as if he wasn't gonna let me in.
"It just came to me but, what do you think about moving out? Has it ever occurred to you?"
Hoseok's face turned to a thinking one, and he retracted his arms to cross them. "Not really, but it doesn't sound bad. Maybe we could find a place that won't make my toes freeze off."
"Right?! I'm always so cold in here."
"It reminds me too much of work sometimes. You know how our heating system hasn't been upgraded?"
"I know."
We both went silent for a moment.
"I'll look for a place if you will," he suggested.
"Deal."
But before I was about to leave and Hoseok was about to close his door, I remembered.
"Did you happen to give Jimin a phone charger by any chance?"
Hoseok looked up with his eyes as if he was going to find his answers there, then looked back at me. "Oh, shit I forgot. Did it run out? Weren't you guys just on the phone too?"
"Yeah we- what the- you heard that?"
Hoseok chuckled. "Guess these thin walls are another reason to move out." I sighed. "Well, I can give it to him on Monday."
Monday? That's in three days. I want to keep talking to Jimin until then.
"Where is it? I can drive up there and give it to him now."
"God, damn. Can't get stay away from your little boyfriend?" Hoseok teased, proceeding to make kissy faces.
I shoved my palm in his face to make him stop. "Shut up. He's not my boyfriend I told you."
"Mm. Well, he's something to you, so I'll give you the charger. Wait here." He went to retrieve the charger, and I was left standing in the doorway. I took the opportunity to scan around his room. There was a huge mirror in the corner, Serendipity standing still and staring at herself, which he bought for the purpose of dancing in front of it. Hoseok has always been into that. He decided it was just a hobby though and we both went to school to become psychiatrists.
Hoseok quickly returned with the cable charger. "Here you go."
"Thanks, Hobi." Looking at the cable in my hands, I continued, "I can't believe you forgot to give this to him. What kind of phone did you give him?"
"A flip-phone."
"That old thing? That was your first phone in high school!"
He laughed. "Yeah."
"Okay, well, I'll be back soon."
"Kk. Bye!" He closed the door and immediately started playing music.
Right as I was about to leave the house, I remembered that Jimin mentioned he was cold, and ran back to my room to grab my black hoodie.

I got past security with the excuse of saying I forgot something here and looked for a place to park, which was easy considering it was 11pm and visitor hours and many shifts were long over. With the cable charger tucked in the pocket of my jacket and my extra hoodie for Jimin slung over my arm, I got out of the car and made my way into the hospital.
"Whoa," slipped out of my mouth when I saw how dark it was. All of the lights were off except for the ones at the end of each hallway. I cautiously walked to the elevator, taking peeks behind me in case there was someone there. This place was eerie in general, but at night it was a whole 'nother level of horrifying.
I pressed the button, shivers crawling up my back as I anticipated for the elevator doors to open so I could be safe within the cube, surrounded in light. It finally opened, and when I stepped inside, I shivered and rapidly pressed the 'close' button.
I was taken to the floor where Jimin's room is, and I excitedly waited for the doors to open. But that excitement crumbled when the darkness was before me, again. What made it even worse was the flickering light above. I'm usually not afraid of the dark, it's just this place gives me the creeps. And I have to step foot in here 5 times a week.
I made it to Jimin's room without being murdered and lightly knocked on it.
"Jimin, it's me."
The door swung open, and I was met with Jimin in tears.
