26- Dr. Kim 🔙

After Jibeum's body was bagged up and brought down to the morgue, I walked up to Dr. Kim who stayed to watch the whole thing with a fake expression of sympathy towards his death. I leaned against the wall beside her and kept my voice low.

"You did this, right?" I asked, earning myself a chuckle.

"Of course! You want to go to jail? You would be in jail if he was still alive to tell about your deeds."

"Like you aren't going to jail for what you just did."

"Why are you getting mad at me? I did you a favor."

"A favor I didn't ask for!" My loud whispering caught the attention of the people passing by, and I just bowed in apology. Making sure they left, I turned back to Dr. Kim. "Look, what you just did, could lead back to me."

"How? It wasn't you who did it."

"But the pathologist is going to know that he was poisoned. Which means when the authorities are involved, they'll begin to narrow down the suspects. And if one of them is you, who knows if you're going to crack and tell them everything when they interrogate you?!"

Dr. Kim put her hand on my shoulder. "Calm down, I won't crack. I'm pretty tough and a good liar. You know my patient Jimin?"

"Um, no."

"Well, he was admitted here about four years ago, and I haven't done bat shit to help the poor boy," she said in a fake-sympathetic tone. "And I'm still making bank."

"That's- fucked up."

"Like what you do isn't," she rolled her eyes. "Tell you what, you can use him. No one checks in on him anyway, especially me," she laughed.

"How old is he again?"

"I didn't say," she pointed out, "but he's eleven now."

I contemplated as I imagined an untreated, eleven year old boy waiting to be touched.

"Okay. Can I see him?"

"Right now? I guess."

With that she lead me to this 'Jimin.'

ITS BEEN SO LONG SINCE I UPDATED WNDJDJJSF. It's because when I went to the BTS concert on Sept. 6th, I had to delete a lot of photos and apps including Wattpad. And the concert videos took up a lot of space in my phone to download Wattpad again. But after backing up a lot of it and then deleting it, I got the app back!!
