Jimin's POV

After the meeting, or reunion as I like to see it, we all headed over to the police station to meet with Joonie's friend. Hobi pulled into the small parking space, and I saw everyone else's car drive past us to look for a place to park, too. Once Hobi took the keys out of the ignition and unlocked the doors, I quickly opened it and waited by the trunk as Hobi parked front first. I was staring in the direction I saw Taehyung and Jin's car disappear into. Yoongi pulled me into his side and Hobi leaned back against the trunk.

"The police might look a little scary, but know that they're here to help us and I'm here if you need me," Yoongi assured me. I leaned my head against his shoulder and he didn't hesitate to plant a kiss on top.

Suddenly we heard voices and sure enough it was them approaching us.

"Sorry to keep you guys waiting," Jin quickly apologized.

"No worries," Yoongi replied.

"Alright, so I contacted my friend and he's waiting for us by the door and he's gonna take us into a private room," Joonie informed us and we all started walking together towards the station.

Police cars were lined up, some policemen were talking amongst themselves outside by their vehicles.

"Is that dude actually eating donuts and drinking coffee in his cop car?" Hobi said unbelievably.

"Holy shit, you're right," Taehyung clarified.

"Like straight out of a movie," Jungkook commented.

By the time the three had finished talking about the cop eating donuts, we had made it through the doors of the station. Quickly coming to greet us was a tall man with high cheekbones and soft, brown hair that fell over his forehead a bit.

"Hey!" He hugged Joonie and they did a handshake.

Joonie turned to introduce us, "This is my good friend Jackson Wang. Jackson, this is Yoongi, Jimin, Taehyung, Jungkook, and my husband Jin."

"Oh, so this is the dude you always talk about," Jackson said before extending his hand for Jin to shake. "I've been wanting to meet you, but my schedule made it almost impossible to meet with friends for a while. But trust me, I've heard so much about you that I practically already know you."

Jin laughed and shook his hand, already feeling comfortable around Jackson's warm, outgoing, and welcoming charm.

"Come on, I'll take you guys into a room so we can talk more privately," Jackson said, and we followed him down a hall, past cubicles of busy officers and staff, until we were let into said room. We each sat down into a seat and Jackson shut the door. He sighed and sat at the head of the table. "So, what's up?"

Everyone looked at each other to see who would speak up first. But as expected, Joonie decided to say something for the group.

"So, as you know, I was in that mental facility." Jackson shifted into crossing his arms, the expression on his face showing that he was giving all his attention to Joonie. "Before I left though, couple years back, there was an incident. One of the doctors of the hospital had...attacked Jimin and sedated him right after, and we were all there to witness it."

"Attacked?" Jackson questioned for Joonie to emphasize.

"He was raped," Joonie struggled to get out the last word, gulping right after he said it as if he was trying to swallow it back down into his stomach where the horrible word could dissolve and disappear.

"You guys didn't stop him?"

"We were young and were 'unstable' due to our mental health. We were terrified. Because what could we do? What if he had more of those sedatives with him and he injected all of us? We all would've forgotten what happened. Then who would help him?"

"So you're saying these sedatives resulted in memory loss? Was that evident in Jimin?" Jackson pulled out a small notepad from the back of his pocket and clicked his pen, jotting down notes.

"Yeah, after he woke up, he acted as if nothing happened," Joonie continued.

"And none of you guys told him about it?"

"Jimin has a delusional disorder. We would've risked the incident playing in his delusions if we told him about it. We didn't want to do that to him," Jin explained.

I'm glad to have hyungs that protect me. I could only imagine my state of mind if they had told me about what happened. I'd be traumatized for the rest of my life. I'd probably never leave the facility.

Hyungs talked and talked about Sungjae and about me, until Jackson said something to make us all silent.

"The thing is though, they won't believe you."

The pause made him reword is sentence, "or they might. They might, they might not. I don't know. I've never came across a case like this. But you guys were patients of a mental facility. And at the time of the incident, you guys were at the peak of your unstable mental health."

"What if you question some staff about his behavior or something? A pedophile can't appear perfectly normal, right? There has to be something off about him. There has to be- There has to-" Jin started choking up, his eyes beginning to become teary.

Jackson looked at Yoongi. "You're a staff of the hospital, aren't you? What do you have to say about the behavior of Sungjae? Anything out of the ordinary about him?

I looked up at Yoongi and squeezed his arm.

"Well there was this one day where I went into Jimin's room and found Sungjae there with him. Only the patient's doctor is allowed to have the key. I am Jimin's current and only doctor. Which meant that Sungjae somehow obtained the key without getting it from the secretary because I went and asked her, and his name was not in the list of previous holders of the key. I believe the doctor before me, Dr. Kim, is involved in Sungjae's deeds. It only makes sense that she gave the key to him."

"I'm gonna need more info on that Dr. Kim," Jackson said.
