Hide x Kaneki one shots

Words hurt

"It's just not working Kaneki, I think I found someone else.... I just wanted to tell you before I did anything with them!" Those words hurt, they really hurt. I tried to give everything to him, but I guess all good things have to come to an end.. Maybe I just guessed that it would come to an end when one of us had to leave this world. I would have never thought that this was the way it would end.

"Hide wait.. Why? Why now?" I called out.

"Kaneki sometimes you think you have everything, but then realize you need one more thing.. I'm sorry, but I realized I didn't have everything." I shouldn't have asked him that question because I feel a lot worse now!

"Oh okay.. Bye Hide" I waved at him once last time. Which all I got in return was a nod. Maybe I was over thinking things. People break up all the time! So I did nothing wrong. Hide just didn't love me the way I loved him so it's okay right? I just need a walk. Yeah to clear my thoughts. I decided to head out.

"Yeah I left him today.. Yeah I'm okay." Perhaps now I'm was not going to clear my thoughts because that all too familiar voice was the voice I was trying to escape from.

"Awe honey I'm sorry." Wait I knew Hides voice, but who was the other guy? Oh wait that's the guy that could give Hide love that I could never give. Wow did I choose the wrong time to talk a walk. I'll just change direction.

"Wait isn't that the guy you left?" I heard the guy whispered every so loudly. I quickly turned my head away from them.

"Yeah, just don't look at him! I bet he can't get over me, let's just go" and with that Hide and the guy took off. Great now I look like I'm not gonna get over Hide, just fantastic!

You know I thought I always loved Hide but I think now I was just in love with the idea of loving him. I truly hope that the guy he's with makes him really happy.

(A/N I have no idea why I can't come up with a happy plot for these too, but I'll hopefully think of something. Also I realize Hide was really out of character, sorry! Hope you enjoyed it~ <3)
