Hide x Kaneki one shots

Birthday

I woke up at six this morning not wanting to get out of bed, the only thing that got me out bed was Kaneki. Kaneki wanted me to go downstairs to eat the breakfast that he made me.

"Kaneki you honestly didn't have to do anything" I remember telling him not to go all out on gifts, I told him I just wanted to spend the day with him. But knowing my boyfriend I knew he was going to do the opposite of what I say.

"I couldn't just let you have a boring birthday!" Kaneki exclaimed while smiling, I love that smile.

"Okay, but please tell me this is all you planned" I looked at his face I immediately knew my answer. Kaneki shook his head slowly.

"Of course not!" Yep that's exactly what I thought his answer was. I just finished the delicious meal Kaneki prepared.

The day was going really good! We walked around the lake by our house and talked about anything and everything. It felt like the world was just about us.

"Let's go to the movies just like our first date." Kaneki said while dragging me towards our house.

"Buckle up, let's go" I smiled and buckled up. Kaneki began driving towards the cinemas.

"We're here!" Kaneki intertwined our hands together and we started walking.

The movie ended two hours later and I was happy with how this birthday turned out. Kaneki then drove us back home, he also insisted on making dinner.

"I can make it really!" Kaneki shook his head and blocked me from entering the kitchen.
"Just let me help" Kaneki looked at me and finally let me in.

We began making spaghetti and I got to make the noodles. It turned out pretty good if you ask me. Kaneki was still trying to get me out of the kitchen though. We then finished our dish and sat down to eat. I offered to clean the dishes which Kaneki finally let me do.

When we finished up, Kaneki was sitting on the couch holding a box. He gestured it towards me. I walked up to grab it. I stared at it for awhile before I opened it. Inside they're was a gorgeous ring.. "what's this for?" I asked.

"It's a promise ring silly, I want to know that when the time comes you'll be mine forever" Kaneki shyly said, he then grabbed my hand. "what do you say?" I quickly wiped my eyes. 

"I say yes! Of course Kaneki I'll marry you tomorrow or next year or 50 years from now!" I practically yelled, he grabbed my hand and slid the ring on. "Good" Kaneki said while hugging me.

"I love you!" I whispered in his ear.

"I love you too" he whispered back.

(A/N I finally wrote something. I got inspired by my birthday :) I also am sorry of the unorganized plot I really just wanted to write something! I hope you enjoyed some of it <3)
