Hide x Kaneki one shots

Notebook

Class never ends! I see the clock moving but every time I check it's the same, but I guess there's one good things about this class. That one thing is named Ken Kaneki, though we never talk I still admire him from afar. Which Kaneki never notices because he's always with his friends. I guess I have to take what I can get. I sit close enough to get a good view of his face, but not so close that he would know I'm always staring at him. Since I get a good view I can totally draw him. If I'm being honest I tend to draw Kaneki daily, I bet that's the reason I'm totally failing math. It's not my fault that I don't understand it or that there's a totally piece of art in front of me. 

"Hide you're clearly not paying attention. Come sit by Kaneki!" My teacher must hate me, not only did she call me out in front of the whole class! She's also moving me next to my distraction. I quickly grabbed my things and hurried towards the seat next to Kaneki. My eyes might be deceiving me but I think Kaneki smiled at me? I quickly checked the clock, there's only five minutes left. Time went by fast for once. 

The bell finally rang, good thing because I'm hungry. I quickly grabbed my bag and hurried out of the class. I went straight to my locker and went to grab my notebook... Wait where'd it go? I know I had it in class, I brought it with me when I sat next to Kaneki. Did I leave it in class? I rushed back to the math room. 

"Do you need something Hide?" My teacher asked me. 

"Have you seen a white notebook with a yellow sun on it?" I quickly asked. 

"Yes I think I have.. Hmm It's yours? I think I saw Kaneki with it when he packed up." He did what? This is not good! I don't want him looking through it. I rushed out the class only to be met with the voices of Kankei and his friends. I noticed Kaneki was putting his books in his bag. Except one of the books wasn't his, it was mine! I really needed to get it back. I could just wait until Kaneki put his bag down and then grab it, yeah that's what i'll do! 

"Guys let's got to lunch." I watched as Kaneki started walking with he's friends. I quickly followed. I then ended up following them to the bathroom, I know that sounds totally creepy, but i'm not just gonna let Kaneki look through my notebook and see the drawings. The thing is I got scared and quickly ran out and waited out the door. I then heard Kaneki coming out the door. He turned to his friends. 

"I'll catch up with you guys later, okay?" I watched his friends nod and walk away. I stayed on the bench I was sitting on when Kaneki suddenly approached me. I began to get nervous. 

"I don't want to sound full of myself or anything, but are following me?" He totally noticed me, guess it's time to confess. 

"Yeah...I was, but it's because I wanted my notebook back. You see you took it by accident and I need it back.." Kaneki looked at me with a confused face. 

"That's all, why didn't you just ask for it?" I instantly blushed. I guess he has a point. 

"I was scared you'd look in it" I then was handed my notebook. I took it from his hands. 

"Don't worry I think the drawings of me are cute" I looked to see a smirking Kaneki. 

"W-what are you talking about?" I quickly cursed at myself for stuttering. 

"Hide, I think i'm gonna notice when someone's staring at me for an hour. I don't mind though considering it's you..I'm just going to say it wanna go out sometime?"

"I'd love that" I said, whilst my face was burning up. Maybe being moved in class wasn't so bad.
