Hide x Kaneki one shots

Proposal

Today's the day and I'm so excited! Well okay if we're being honest I'm terrified. I love Kaneki and I'm pretty sure Kaneki loves me too. It's just what if he's not ready for marriage? I mean  he's never talked about it or even mentioned it, but he always tells me that he'll love me till the end of time so marriage shows that right?

"I'm not sure if he'll like it" I stated while Touka looked at the ring I've choose.

"What do you mean? It looks great! He'll love it" Touka smiled at me. At this moment I was really thankful to have her as a friend.

"Really? Thank you!" I smiled at her.

"Hey no problem. I also better be invited to the wedding!" Touka said.

"Of course. Kaneki and I want friends of course!" I say while hugging her.

"So you nervous?" Touka asked. How do I answer I want to say yes, but I'm also not at all nervous.

"Not really, I believe Kaneki will say yes! Well I hope at least" I say while getting my jacket on.

"Well I should get going. I gotta get ready." I stayed while walking out the cafe.

(Time skip)

Dinner was going great. Kaneki was having a blast! I'm going to do it after we're done eating, my nerves are everywhere!

"Hide you know you really didn't have to do this, I'm thankful that you did though!" Kaneki smiled at me. Oh no he's done eating. Well maybe now? No I'll do it out of the restaurant.

"Kaneki you ready to go?" Kaneki nodded while standing up, I then paid and left.

"Where are we going? Home's that way." Kaneki stated while pointing left. I just kept walking to the park.

"Oh you wanna go to the park?" I nodded and walked toward the garden area.

"It's so pretty here!" Kaneki showed me that famous smile of his. Gosh that's what I want to see everyday of my life.

"Kaneki, I love you so much. You changed my life for the better. I'm so incredibly happy that you're my boyfriend! I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Kaneki I started this friendship and now I want to have you be with me till death do us part. So Ken Kaneki, will you marry me?" I said while getting on one knee. Kaneki looked down on me while tearing up.

"Hide of course I'll marry you!" Yes it was a success! Kaneki then went in for a hug and I gave him a kiss. I truly realized at this moment that I was going to spend the rest of my life with this man.
