I don't know where to begin processing my feelings right now. I am having lunch with my friends, cousin, and dead parents that I killed. I mean, this Maggie and Alex aren't really my parents, they are just people that are very similar to my deceased parents. Holy shit, I don't know if I should be crying, screaming or just...god I don't know.
We are all sitting in this booth that is a bit cramped, in this restaurant that isn't very packed. Scott and Allen are goofing off like usual. Katie is staring at the entryway to the restaurant while having that smirk she does when she is planning something that typically gets my ass beat. Maggie and Alex are simply playing on their phones. Well, they are most likely texting one another about this awkward situation. I wonder what Kara and Lena are doing out there? It has been a minute or so since I have come in and sat down. It's weird not seeing them as a couple. I mean, the chemistry is there, but the relationship isn't. Before I could even think to take my next breath, Katie gathers everyone's attention with a tap on her glass.
"Okay. Yeah, this situation is pretty odd and stressful but we can do this. Sure, Scorch is here to slaughter all metahumans and aliens so her and her team can be the ultimate rulers but it'll all be fine. In the meantime of us planning our magical win, we have to do something else." Everyone is looking at one another in complete confusion. I knew that smirk meant something. "Kara and Lena, my moms on earth 56. Now I know those two women out there fancy each other and so, all of us are going to attempt to get them together." Alex was the first to respond to Katie's ridiculous idea. She responded with a hefty laugh.
"Kid, Lena maybe into Kara but Kara isn't into Lena. They are just friends!" Allen was the next to laugh.
"Yeah, and how many times have we heard that before? 'Oh, we are just friends' bullshit. We don't have wet dreams about our friends." Scott coughed up his water that he just consumed.
"You don't!" Scott shouts and then begins to breathe heavily. "Oh shit." Everyone at the table gave him a questionable look but then decided to ignore him. Katie, yeah, she didn't respond to Allen's comment very well. She took the bread that was sitting on the table and smashed it into Allen's face.
"Those are my mothers! Shut the hell up!" My cousin shouted. Before this conversation that no one asked for could continue, Kara and Lena entered the restaurant. Katie leaned in close and smiled a toothy grin. "We are so getting them together." Maggie leaned in as well and gave the same smile.
"We definitely are, I caught the gay vibe a while ago," Maggie said. I couldn't help but smile. I guess Maggie on any earth is just the same. My moms maybe gone on earth 56 but they are for sure living here. I hate to admit this but I kinda don't want this situation with Scorch to end because when we win, we go home.
