I couldn't believe what I had witnessed. Supergirl had beaten a child, our nephew. This wasn't at all like her. I know the people Logan and his team had killed were kids but Logan had his reasons and they were good ones. Wait, Supergirl didn't know these reasons. In her mind, they just killed them to get it over and done with. She doesn't know that there was no saving them, that they had already been killed...in a sense. Even so, for her to attack Logan like that was wrong. Not only was it wrong but it was scary. I know our anger gets the best of us sometimes but for Supergirl, that's dangerous. I cannot imagine if Logan wasn't superhuman, she would've killed him. I strongly believe that if Logan was human she wouldn't have done that. But still, how could she!

"Supergirl, you calm down or I'll be forced to shoot. Don't make me do so." Agent Danvers had said in a firm voice. She wouldn't shoot to kill though, just to weaken. Supergirl didn't respond, she just turned to me. The look she was giving me, she was talking to me. I could see that she was scared of herself, I could see her pain and fear. I had to look away. I took my eyes away from her gaze and looked over at Logan and Katie. Katie was looking around his head for more injuries I assumed. His face had already begun to heal, it was fascinating. What was more interesting, however, was that he just let her beat him. I have the feeling as though he felt he deserved it, but why? Logan moved his friends away from him and reached over to Agent Danvers.

"Alex put down your weapon. It is alright." He said in a calm tone. Agent Danvers took a moment to comply.

"Everyone, put down your weapons and get back to work!" Agent Danvers had shouted. All the agents did as they were told. Supergirl moved towards us, looking for forgiveness but I couldn't help but take a step back. I wasn't the only one who had done this either, the kids and Agent Danvers had done so as well. Logan was the only one to not budge, he wasn't afraid.

"Guys...no," Supergirl whispered. It looked as though she was on the verge of tears. It hurt to see my friend hurt but I couldn't help but be afraid.

"You asked, 'how could I', it was because they were already dead." All eyes were now on Logan. Supergirl looked at him, teary-eyed and confused. "I knew them. They were prisoners like me. They were kind, funny and caring. Every time it was someone's turn for a new surgery, another would beg for themselves to go instead. The twins, their names were Shawn and Malcam. The monkey guy, his name was Big Ed. That's what I called him at least. They were my friends in there and if Scorch finished with me, I would've been just like them. I would've been a brain dead puppet. I killed them because they were already dead. I set their souls free. They made me promise to stop them by all means, before their loved ones saw what they had become. Scorch takes kids who have no attachments. The twins and Big Ed were runaways. Their families never went to look for them but still, they didn't want their unloving families to see them like that. Even though we are on another earth, I still needed to keep my promise." Logan said in one breath. The room was silent. Katie had tears in her green eyes and she was covering her mouth. Scott stared at the ground, I could see his jaw clenching. Allen was biting her lip to I assume stop herself from crying. Agent Danvers couldn't take her eyes off the boy, her boy. I too had tears in my eyes. Logan had been through Hell and those boys too. He did them a service. I looked over at Supergirl and saw for the first time, tears streaming down her face. In a swift motion, she moved over to Logan and wrapped her arms around him. Logan seemed to hesitate but eventually returned Supergirl's hug.

"Your friends are grateful. Thank you for being the hero that I need to be." Supergirl whispered but loud enough for us to hear. "I don't think I could've sent their souls free. You do what needs to be done and for that, you are a greater hero." Supergirl said in a calm tone. She moved away from Logan and cupped his face. The blonde superhero turned to Agent Danvers. "Do you think my sunbed would work on Logan?" She asked. Agent Danvers went to reply to the tall blonde but Allen interrupted.

"It is a good idea but we have tried that before. The sun just doesn't help Logan heal or anything. He is part Kryptonian due to what Scorch did to him at a young age with your blood but there are just some things that make you two very different. He'll heal up quickly though. So um, no worries." Allen explained to Supergirl. It seemed as though everyone else cooled down from what just happened with Supergirl and Logan but I am still shaken. It's going to take me some time to look at her the same way again. Katie let out a random laugh, catching me off guard.

"What is it, Katie?" I asked, obviously curious. She looked at me with a disappointed smirk.

"Nothing, just, never mind. Where are we all sleeping tonight?" Katie said, sounding disappointed. What was bothering her was that Logan isn't Kara's kid, yet he has so much more in common with her than her own daughter does, Katie. She is biologically both Lena's and Kara's child. Doctor's used Kara's bone marrow. To get into her skin the room was covered in Kryptonite. Katie is the one related to Kara but they had nothing in common. On their earth, this made Katie livid because Kara and Logan were always so buddy-buddy whereas Katie was left studying or helping Lena. Logan came up with the idea of Katie joining his team so Kara and she could get closer but even so, Katie was always overlooked. What upset Katie was that everything seemed to be about Logan, once again, and she couldn't even voice what was bothering her because her mom didn't know Kara was Supergirl.

Agent Danvers was the first to speak up. "Well," Agent Danvers cleared her throat, "Logan and Scott could stay with Maggie and me tonight. I did promise the kid ice cream anyways." Logan seemed happy with that response and grabbed Scott by the collar of his shirt.

"Great! And Allen could stay with Lena and Katie could stay with Kara." The dread head gave Katie a wink. I wonder what their angel was. Agent Danvers started walking towards the exit of the D.E.O.

"Okay. Katie, I'll take you to Kara's. She should be off by now." Agent Danvers said. I looked at Allen and she was just grinning at me, it made me a tad bit uncomfortable.

"Oh! Can we all have breakfast at Kara's tomorrow morning? I always looked forward to breakfast over there." Scott said excitedly. I assume on their earth we had breakfast over there a lot. I said I didn't mind and Agent Danvers agreed. We all left the D.E.O. Agent Danvers had the boys and Katie and I had Allen. I was in the car with Allen. She offered to run us to my apartment but I wasn't up for that so I called up my personal driver.

"So, Lena, think you and Kara will get together here on this earth too?" Allen asked me with innocence. She had caught me off guard. Kara and I? A couple? Tonight will be a long night.
