And I Didn't Notice

Chapter 17 (Kara's POV)

    "Put them away immediately!" I yelled as soon as we entered the D.E.O. I was furious. How could someone related to me from any earth kill someone, especially when it could've been avoided? I couldn't believe my eyes. It didn't matter whether that Scorch woman saw us with Logan or not! It didn't matter. I am glad no civilians got hurt but those other kids didn't need to die. I can't even look at Logan, Katie, Scott or even Allen's face. Is this what they did on their earth, kill?

    "Supergirl! There is no need to lock them up!" I heard Alex yell from behind me. I couldn't believe my ears. I turned towards her quickly, with my super speed. 

    "What did you just say to me?" I asked in a shaky, venomous, tone. I could tell that by my actions that a few people around me became somewhat scared, including Lena. I cannot believe Alex thinks these kids don't need to be locked up.  Alex, startled by my fast moments, blinks a couple times and then lets out the breath she didn't know she was holding. 

    "Supergirl, they protected the people. No one was hurt. They do not need to be locked up. And we got Scorch's leader." With anger, I turned to the nearest object, a wall, and smashed my fists against them and let out a frustrated scream. The wall crumbled into pieces.

    "They killed people!" I screamed. I quickly turned to Logan and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. "You don't deserve to wear that crest on your body! You are no nephew of mine! How could you kill three people! How could you!" I yelled with rage. My mind became clouded. My body began to act on its own. Within seconds I found myself colliding my fist onto Logan's face, sending him over to the other side of the room.  

    Alex was the first to react. "Hey!" my sister yelled. I could hear her, I could see what I had done but the rage inside me didn't let me stop. I marched over to Logan, not waiting for him to get up, and began to shower him with punches. 

    "How could you!" I screamed with each punch. Shockingly Logan just laid there. He not once attempted to fight back. He was letting me hurt him and I couldn't stop. As quick as it started, it ended. A flash came across my vision and then he was gone. That flash must've been Allen. I turned around to see where she had taken him. His face was bruised and busted. I did that. Oh my Rao, I did that...to a child. Allen and Scott were holding up Logan, Katie was tending to his face. Alex stood in front of the kids, same with Lena. They were protecting the kids...from me. Winn was nowhere to be seen and Mon-El was just standing from a distance, seeming ready to fight. J'onn was also not here. He was still at the scene of the attack. I looked around the room and began to notice more things. Agents with their weapons pointed. I turned my attention back to Alex and noticed she also had her weapon out. Her weapon had a green glow, she had Kryptonite. In that moment, I knew that I had become the threat. 

    "Supergirl, you calm down or I'll be forced to shoot. Don't make me do so." I didn't speak, I just stayed still. I looked over at Lena who seemed to be shocked but grounded. She looked at me as if I was the monster, I cannot handle her looking at me like that.
