Scar's POV

We were in the neighbourhood that now brings back so many memories, all those happy moments. This brought a huge smile to my face, we were just driving around and I would usually be on my phone if we'd done this back in Ohio but right now I'm string out the widows around me.

I looked to the front and I saw my dad adjust the front mirror, I saw him look at me and smile.

I saw him nudge my mother, who turned around.

"Well that's a sight for sore eyes." Mom said.

"What?" I asked not understanding.

"Our happy, smiling daughter is back and I hope she will be back for a long time." Mom said and turned back around.

We parked in a familiar driveway. As dad put the car in park, I jumped out of the car.

"Aaliyah!" I yelled out knocking on the front door.

I heard doors shut, I turned around to see my parents making their way to me.

I heard the front door open and I turned around I saw Aaliyah.

"Aaliyah!" I yelled out and hugged her.

"S...Scarlett?" She asked.

I let go and nodded.

She shrieked and I did too and we hugged each other again. We released each other and I saw Mr and Mrs Mendes make their way to the front door.

"Oh, my. Welcome come inside." Mrs Mendes said.

We did as she said.

1hour later.

"We promise this time to stay in contact." My mom said to Mrs Mendes and hugged her.

Dad already said his goodbye and started the car.

I hugged Mr and Mrs Mendes goodbye.

I walked over to Aaliyah.

"Can't wait for you and Shawn to become a couple." Aaliyah said with a smile.

"Aaliyah that ain't happening." I said and hugged her.

"Well congrats on that contract." Aaliyah sincerely said.

"Thanks." I said and we both released from the hug.

"Bye." I said

"Bye."Aaliyah said.

Me and mom climbed into the car I waved one last time and we were off.

We climbed off from the aeroplane and got a taxi home. I then switched my phone off from flight mode and saw that I had 2 unread messages from just 23minutea ago and 1phone call. They were all from Shawn.

I opened up the two unread messages.

"Hey wanna Face Time?"

"I'm missing that beautiful face of yours, honestly I'm just missing you."

I felt my cheeks heat up from the second message.

40 minutes later and we arrived home. I was tired and my eyes were red. I had studied on the plane, and for 40 minutes in the taxi and for 3hours back in Canada and 10hours yesterday.

Hopefully I pass that physics text tomorrow.

Night fell and soon morning followed.

I got up and ready for the day, a hoodie and jeans.

Mom and dad were sitting in the kitchen.

Why were they home?

"Morning, Scarlett what you thinking about?" Mom asked.

"Um...not to be rude but why you all at home?" I asked

"We took off." Dad said pouring coffee into a cup.

"Come on grabbed some breakfast."Mom said.

I nodded and had my breakfast 30 minutes later mom was driving me to school.

She told me to phone her once I'm finished writing.

We took our seats and exam began.

2 hours and 30 minutes later we all walked out of the exam room.

I phoned my mom and she said she'd be here in 15 minutes.

After I ended the call I received a call, I answered it without looking at the Caller ID.

"Hi this is Scarlett." I said.

"Hello Scar." Shawn's voice rang through my ears. It made me shiver, urgg, I just wanted to hug him right now.

"Hey...you." I awkwardly said.

"So what you doing?" Shawn asked.

"Not much, just finishing up my exams this week." I said.

"Is it to late to say good luck?"  Shawn asked.

"No, I'll actually be needing it until this week is over." I said.

Just then the principle walked out of the school and towards me.

"Aaliyah said..."I cut Shawn off.

"Uh, Shawn I have got to go." I said. I cut off the call and put my phone away.

"Hello Mrs Fredrick" I say politely.

"Ms Adrian, please come with me." She said.

We walked into the school and towards Mrs Fredrick's office.
