The bus stopped in front of The Hilton hotel in the Biafran capital, The Great state. Chidum and Gokan got down from the vehicle. Gokan had his camera around his neck and immediately began taking pictures. Chidum had on a big backpack and in his right hand was a long, slim, bag.

"I don't get why you packed up like that," Gokan said as he took a photo. "It's a one day trip."

"Just follow," Chidum replied, quickly walking towards the open hotel gates.

"Hey wait up!" Gokan called, running after his friend.

Both men went through the gates, across the compound and into the lobby. They got to the counter and a beautiful, Caucasoid woman smiled at them.

"Welcome to the Hilton," said the receptionist, looking Chidum over.

Gokan noticed the eyeballing. He frowned at the woman

"Hey, no eyeballing my friend, lady!" The Turk snapped. "We're here to see art, not be viewed as art.

Chidum smiled.

"My apologies, fair lady, but tis as my friend spoke," he told the lady. "We are here to pay for a room for but an hour."

"Yeah, a place to drop my luggage and change into our hot tuxedos," Gokan added.

The receptionist let out a sigh, then pulled her eyes away from Chidum and down to her computer monitor.

"I can get you gentlemen a room on the second floor so you can easily access and exit the building," she offered.

"That would be greatly appreciated," Chidum replied with a smile.

The lady looked up at him and the sight of him smiling at her caused her face to go red.

"Just doing my job," she said as she turned to get the keycard from the cabinet behind her.

Gokan looked at the lady from behind.

"Not bad eh, buddy?" He asked, nudging Chidum with his shoulder.

"She is properly shaped, and a highly impressive specimen of a woman if that is what you were implying," Chidum replied, his smile still in place.

The receptionist was taking a while getting the key.

"Come on, lady!" Gokan snapped. "We've got a ceremony in like three hours. I gotta get a good spot and my tripod set up at least thirty minutes before the stuff begins."

"I'm sorry," the lady said. "The keycard is supposed to be here."

"Perhaps we should take whatever room is easily available to you then," Chidum told the woman. "We would not mind."

"Hell no!" Gokan snapped. "She promised a good room and that's what we'll get.

"We have not time to waste, Gokan," Chidum told his friend. "There is much I must tell you and so little time."

"What you talking about?" Gokan asked.

"Found it!" The receptionist cried, holding up a keycard.

She came back to the counter and took their names, then handed them the keycard. Gokan reached for it, but she pulled it away. She offered it to Chidum, who politeley collected it. As he'd expected, there was a piece of paper with the keycard.

"Try to use the number," the receptionist said with a smile. "Only for emergencies though."

She winked at Chidum and he nodded with a smile, then turned to head for the elevator. Gokan looked from his retreating friend to the receptionist. The woman looked down at her computer screen.
