Chap 2 ; Finally here

"Kaylen wake up" I heard someone say.

"Kaylen wake up" There it is again but this time that person is shaking me.

"KAYLEN WAKE UP!!" The person yelled in my ear.

I shot up quickly with wide eyes. "HOLY MEATBALLS" I yelled in horror. I looked to my side and find Jake laughing.

"And why are you laughing?" I asked with an eyebrow raised

"Holy meatballs? Really?" He asks while chuckling

"Well guess where I got that from" I say as I stabbed my pointer on Jake's chest

"Hey. I was 9 when I said that" Jake defended

"But you still said it, and so I copied you" I said simply and then shrugged

"Copycatter" Jake says and rolls his eyes.

"Aww, but Jake, you love me" I cooed and smiled at him

"I do. I do" he replies while nodding

I smile and look out the window revealing a brick apartment.

"So is this where we're staying?" I asked still looking out the window

"Yes. Yes it is" Jake answered

I smiled at him. "Well should we get the boxes out?" I ask him

"Yep let's go" Jake said as he took out the keys from the ignition

I put my hand on the door handle, but before I opened it, Jake cut me off. "Don't open it. I'll open it" I frowned a little

"But I wanna open it" I started whinning.

"NO" Jake yelled while he got out of the car.

Right before I could open my door, Jake opened it for me.

"Ladies first" Jake says while holding the door out for me

"Thank you" I smiled at him.

I went in the back of the truck and started getting 2 boxes at a time.

I walked up the stairs and as I was walking up, I accidentally dropped one box.

"Ugh" I groaned as I put the other box down and picked up the other box that fell.

I look up and see Jake running towards me.

He reached up to me. "I think you should carry one at a time" He says while grabbing the fallen box from the ground

"Fine" I grumbled while getting up

I walked up the stairs with Jake in front of me.

Once we reached the first floor, we walked up to the desk.

"Hello" The lady at the desk said with a smile

"Hi. Umm, We're here to live here for college" Jake says

"Well no duhh." I whisper with sarcasm

Jake shoved me my shoulder with his

"oww" i said while rubbing my arm because that's where i have a HUGE bruise because i bumped into a wall.

"room 357 4th floor" the lady hands jake the keys with a smile

"thank you" jake quickly takes the keys out of her hands and started at the elevator.

when we reached our room, we put the boxes down and jake started walking to get more.

i examined the whole apartment,

it doesn't seem bad.

there's 2 bathrooms.

a kitchen

living room

and dinning room

but the sad part is.

there's only one bedroom.
