chap 39 ; macaroni spahgetti meatballs

"JAAAKE!" i complained at him

jake decided to give me the silent treatment after what i did to him last night.

"well fine! act like that" i told him and started walking away with my head held high

my head was held so high, i couldn't see what was on the ground.

while walking downstairs, i didn't realize i missed a step and then i fell down.

my ankle started to hurt badly!

"OWWW!" i winced in pain

everybody came running toward me, and then jake came running down the stairs.

"oh my god jane are you okay?" he asks placing his hands on my cheeks

"no, i um, i think i broke my ankle" i told them

jake lifted me up bridal style and placed me softly on the sofa.

jake's mom came running towards me with an ice pack.

"here, place this on your ankle, and i'll go call the ambulance, cause i'm to lazy to drive" she tells me and walks back into the kitchen

jake took a seat next to me and put his arm around my shoulders.

"you love me so much, you can't stand a dag talking to me" i told him and smirked

"hey, my girlfriend fell off the stairs because she was too busy holding her head high" he told me and then chuckled

i giggled and then kissed his cheek.

i snggled into his chest and then slowly fell asleep smiling.

"kaylen sweetie, wake up" jake's mom said and shook me

i slowly opened my eyes and find paramedics standing behind her.

why is ther paramedics here?

oh right, my ankle..

i looked over at jake and find him sleeping.

i shook him lightly and then his eyes flutter open.

when he saw the paramedics, he got off and helped me up.

he carried me to the ambulance and placed me lightly on the stretcher.

~ at the hospital ~

"okay ms. jane, what seems to be the problem here?" dr. stewart asked me

"well um, i fell down the stairs, and my ankle started to hurt really bad, so i started thinking that i sprained my ankle" i told him

"oh, okay. stay here, and i'll be right back" he told me, jake, and jake's mom

the doctor headed out the door, and closed it behind him.

i let out a deep sigh and started to rub my ankle slow and gentle.

a few minutes later doctor stewart came back with crutches.

CRUTCHES??!
