In Love With My Best Friend

chap 41 ; this morning

"i'm comming to get you"

i layed there.. shocked!

my eyes started to fill with tears, i tried holding them back. but i came bursting into sobs.

jake quickly sat up and hugged me.

i felt safe in his arms.

"babe. what's wrong?" he asked in a worried tone

i didn't say anything to him.

i just snuggled into his chest, and let everything slide.

i then went back to sleep crying in his chest

~ a few hours later ~

i woke up from a nap and see jake still cuddling with me.

i look up and saw a shadow.

it came closer amd closer to me.

i flinched and began to whimper.

"please don't kill me" i mumbled to myself and closed my eyes shut.

"kaylen, i'm not going to do anything to you. what's wrong?" kevin asked

i opened my eyes and let a tear go down my cheek.

when the tear landed on jake's arm, he woke up and hugged me tighter, he wiped the tear from my cheek.

"jane. what's wrong? please just talk to us" jake told me

"i want everybody to be there" i told them

they both nod their heads and started walking towards the door.

i got scared.

what if someone has been watching me?

"WAIT!" i called out

jake and kevin turned their heads to me

"can jake stay? i'm, um, scared.." i said and looked down

"yeah sure" jake went next to me and i snuggled into his chest.

his arms wrapped around my waist, and my head on top of his chest.

i felt safe.

jake helped me walk down the stairs while i was using my clutches.

i walked over to the dinning room where everybody was at, and took a seat.

everybody turned their bodies and heads to face me.

i took a sigh and started saying.

"okay umm... this morning, someone was calling me, so i picked it up, and i didn't know who the person was, but, it said that their comming to get me.. and i'm really scared"

after telling them what happened i burst into crying.

jake hugged me tightly and i sobbed in his shoulder.

"it's okay sweetie, we're going to bring you to the cops, and you'll tell them what happened this morning. okay?" she said and started rubbing my back gently

"okay" i replied and wiped my tears away.

i hate acting weak in fron of everybody.

jake's p.o.v

i hate seeing jane cry.

this is the second time today that she cried.

if someone is going after her, their going to have to go through me!

i fon't care if i die, as long as jane is safe. there's no need to worry.

she's the love of my life!

and i don't want to lose her.

~ at the police station ~

kaylen's p.o.v

"okay ms. jane, can you please tell us what happened this morning?" one of the police officer asked me

the officer started the voice recorder..

i am now in a questioning room (idk okay)

the other's are outside waiting for me...

i released a sigh and started saying ;

"well this morning.. someone called me and then i answered it, and the person said that they're comming to get me" i told them

the officer stopped the voice recorder.

"hm.. strange. the person called you this morning?" the officer asked

"yes sir" i replied

"strange. about what time?" he asked

"like around 4 or 5 in the morning" i told him

his head shot up and looked at me in shock.

"this morning was when anthony hill escaped"
