chap 16 ; living my dream

once we reached the car

jake stopped me before i went inside.

jake - "okay. before you go inside, you have to wear this"

jake says holding up a bandana

i don't know why but i just agreed and let him put the bandana around my eyes.

once he was done, jake opened the door on my side and helped me in.

jake slammed the door hard, causing me jump a little.

jake went to the drivers seat and buckled his seatbelt.

i reach over to my right trying to find the the seatbelt but i couldn't.

jake - "sweetie, your touching the roof. not the seatbelt"

i instantly blush in emberassment.

jake - "here, let me help you"

jake took the seatbelt and buckled it for me.

i giggled..

jake started the engine and started driving.

jake - "why did you giggle?"

me - "because you called me sweetie"

jake - "oh, i could stop calling you that if you want me to"

me - "no it's okay. to be honest, it's cute"

i say and smile, not knowing where i'm looking at.

i put my hands down on my knees and interwine them together.

and then suddenly jake get's my left hand and interwines them together.

we are now holding hands.

i couldn't help but blush.

after about 10-30 minutes of driving we're finally here at our destination.

jake unbuckled my seatbelt and went out of the car.

the door opened.

jake helped me get out of the car, and i fixed my dress.

me - "could i take the blindfold off now?" i ask him

jake - "no. i'll take it off when we're there. okay"

me - "fine"

i rolled my eyes.

hoping he didn't see me..

jake took my right hand and interwined our fingers together.

after about 15 minutes of walking

i feel sand hit my feet.

i stop and let go of his hand to take off my heels.

i grabbed my heels on my left hand and held his left hand in my right hand.

me - "are we there yet?" i ask impatiently because i'm soo excited to see what it is.

jake - "we're almost there jane. just hold on"

after a few more minutes,

jake finally stopped.

jake - "okay, do not move. and keep your eyes close, even when the blindfold is off. got it?"

me - "got it"

jake let's go of my hand and goes in back of me to untie the bandana.

the bandana fell off and i kept my eyes shut untik jake told me it was okay to open them.

i hear jake running,

but i don't know where.

jake - "OKAY. YOU COULD OPEN THEM NOW!"

i quickly open my eyes,

and my jaw drops.

i could feel tears in my eyes, but i refuse to make them spill.

me - "oh my god this is beautiful!"

jake brought me to a beach.

the moon was a full moon, and the beautiful stars were everywhere.

i look over at the right and spot a table (circle shaped) with a red cloth on it, with fancy chairs with red cloth's over them, bread sticks, spahgetti, and wind in the middle.

i look over at jake who is smiling at me.

i run over to jake and hug him tightly.

i let go and look in his eyes

me - "this is really beautiful jake. i can't believe you did all of this for me"

i say and widely smile at him

jake - "well it cost a lot, but it was worth it"

i stand on my tippy toes and kiss his lips.

passionately

we released a few seconds later and then started walking toward the lovely table.

jake pulled the seat out for me and i sat.

me - "thank you" i say with a smile

jake - "your welcome" he replies

jake goes over to his seat and sits down.

me - "i gotta say. this is the best date i've ever been to" i say looking deep into his eyes.

jake - "well i'm glad to hear that"

jake takes the wine and pops it open

he pours some wine in my glass, and some in his.

we begin to get our food and talk about good memories.

me - "remember that night you slept over at my house and fell asleep while you were pooping in the toilet?"

we both burst into laughter

jake - "haha, yeah. those are really great and funny memories about us"

jake takes his phone out of his pocket to check the time.

jake - "it's 12 pm. would you like to go home now?"

me - "no. actually, i wanna admire the beautiful view"

jake - "okay. that's sounds perfect"

jake got up from his seat and hands his hand out.

i gladly take it and we started walking to the shore.

we stop and just looked at the beautiful stars sparkling.

i then see a shooting star.

my eyes widened because that was the very first shooting star i ever saw!

me - "OH MY GOD JAKE DID YOU SEE THAT SHOOTING STAR!?" i say jumping up and down pointing at the direction i saw it in

jake chuckles "yes jane, i saw it.. so what did you wish for?"

i look up at him.

me - "what are you talking about? you're all i ever wished for"

he then looks down at me and smiles.

he turned his body to face mine.

he pulled me by my waist, and now my body is touching his.

he took the back of my neck and pulled me closer to his face.

and then suddenly our lips touched.

it was slow, but at the same time passionate.

it felt like heaven just kissed my lips.

i feel tingles everywhere.

and i deepened the kiss.

i can't believe this is happening.

me kissing jake.

this has always been my dream since i was in 3rd grade.

and now here i am,

living my dream
