chap 40 ; i'm comming

"CLUTCHES?!" i screamed at the top of my lungs

"yes ms. jane, clutches, you sprained your ankle really bad, so you'rr going to have to stay on these clutches for about 2 to 3 weeks" the doctor told me and placed the clutches on the wall

i let out a frustrated sigh and fell down on my back.

i put my hands overy mouth and screamed.

"kaylen honey, it's just a few weeks, right before youknow it, it's ober and you're out of of the crutches" she told me with a smile

~ 2 houts later ~

"okay, 1.. 2.. 3!!" jake said and then helped me walk down the stairs using my clutches.

it was really hard in the begging, but i'm starting to get used to it.

we finally reached the bottom amd jumped in victory!

"okay okay. calm down, you don't want to break your other ankle, do you?" he asks and chuckled

i quickly stopped and we both headed to the dinning table.

jake helped me take my seat, and then jake saf next to me.

we began to eat our dinner..

dinner was silent, and awkward.

but luckily jake's mom broke it.

"me and your father has some great news to tell you" she starts speaking

we all turned our head and looked at her.

"what is it mom?" jake asked

"we're going to a family vacation! i know we're not blood related, but you're all part of my family, so just bare with me. oh and your sister jayla is comming with us!" she told us with a smile

jayla! no wonder why there was another room down jake's hallway.

how could i forget about her?!

"that sounds terrific! where are we going?" i asked

"that's a surprise" she tells us

we looked at her in confusion, but shrugged it off.

guess we have to wait till we leave.

after clearing the table and washing the dishes.

jake's mom ; aka my mom as well..

"we're um leaving when kaylen get's her cast off" she told us before we headed to our rooms

i was having a hard time climbing up the stairs, so jake carried me bridal style and up to his room.

he softly places me down on his bed and i snuggled myself in his blankets.

minutes later i fell deep asleep

~ the next morning ~

*buzz buzz*

i woke up from hearing my phone vibrate.

i groaned and just answered it.

"hello?" i said in a raspy voice

"i'm comming to get you..."
