chap 37 ; kaylen's birthday

"ohh, janey baby! wakey wakey!" jake coos at me while i was still sleeping.

i groaned and stuffed my head beneath a pillow.

"janey poo!" he coos at me again

"do you want to lose a finger?" i asked him

"no, i um actually like my fingers" he told me

i sat up and faced him.

i looked at the mirror that was leaning on the wall.

"ew, i look like shit" i started fixing my hair and brushed the knots with my fingers

"you look sexy in the morning" jake complimented me with a loving smile

"awww, thanks jake. so why'd you wake me up again?" i asked and stretched myself

"are you kidding me? TODAY'S YOUR BIRTHDAY SILLY GIRL!" he yelled excitedly and started jumping everywhere

"I HAVE SO MUCH THING PLANNED OUT! OH MY GOD!" he said in a girl tone, jumping everywhere!

"so what! it's just my 19th birthday, get over it" i rolled my eyes and layed back down.

"no ms. kaylen jane! you are getting your lazy ass off my bed right now! and you're gonna go downstairs!" he yelled at me, pointing at the door

"make me!" i told him and closed my eyes

i then felt myself being lift bridal style.

i open my eyes and see jake smirking as her carried me down the stairs.

"JAKE MICHEAL PETER PUT ME DOWN OR I'LL REALLY CUT YOUR HANDS OFF!" i threatened him

he didn't do anything but laugh at me

once we were down the stairs, jake placed me lightly on my feet.

jake went behind me and put his hands over my eyes.

"okay, i'm going to start walking, and just follow my footsteps" he told me

i did as he said

"okay, 1... 2... 3!!" he released his hands and i see jake's family and mine ; aka our family.

his mom and dad is holding a vanilla ice cream cake that says 'HAPPY 19 BIRTHDAY JANEY POO!'

they all started to sing 'happy birthday' and when they reached to the end of the song,

kevin and jake came up to me and smashed cupcake onto my face

"I TOLD YOU TWO THAT WE WERE NOT GOING TO DO THAT!"

jake's mom yelled at them while they were laughing and rolling their asses around the floor laughing

"since you did that, you two are going to stay by her side, and do whatever she tells you to do the whole day today" jake's mom tells them

they both stopped laughing and they quickly got up from thr ground.

"THAT'S SOO NOT FAIR MOM!" jake whined

"that was very disrespectful jake micheal peter, even you kevin junior jane! don't maka me even more upset!" she tells them

they both ran to me and used me as a human shield to cover them from jake's mom.

"kaylen, jake, and kevin, hurry up and go change! we still have to go eat out for dinner and the go to that karaoke place!" jake's mom yelled from upstairs

"OKAY MOM!" jake yelled back

kevin jogged to the guest room, while me and jake crawled up the stairs.

~ 30 minutes later ~

i was basically the last one to get ready because duhh,

it's my birthday today and i had to look good!

i walked downstairs and find everyone yelling at eachother

they all closed their mouths when they saw me come down the stairs

"um, what just happened?" i asked them

"don't worry about it sweetie" jake's mom told me and smiled at me

the car ride was silent, the only thing i could hear was my voice singing to the radio and everybdoy laughing at me.

we decided to eat at olive garden because they all know i'm in love with their food!

we all ordered our food and ate.

"so honey, when are you planning on proposing to kaylen?" jake's mom asked while taking a sip of her drink

i pretended to choke and then swallow my food.

"when we grow older obviously, we're still to young to get married" jake told her

"no it's not!" she told jake

"i love you mom, but i will propose to her when i feel mature enough" jake tells her

"oh yeah, good idea, because you haven't reached that level yet, and there is no way in heck you're going to have kids if you're still acting like you're a kid" she told jake

"okay, whatever mother. but i'll propose someday" jake says

he looks at me and flashes me a smile.

oh how i love his smile soo much

"we have a very important guest who is going to be singing to his girlfriend for her birthday. everyone give it up for JAKE PETER!" the guy announced and eveyone in the crowd clapped their hands

jake ran up the stage with a smile on his face looking confident

the music to 'life of the party by shawn mendes' started playing

to be honest, jake sounded really good! not to be mean or anything, but i've been with him soo many years, and i've heard him sing before, but he sounded bad, that was only because he was playing around and not taking it serious.

but today? he sang with all his heart, he smiled and kept his gaze at me. this is the cutest thing he ever did for me! aside from hanging a big poster on the school's gym saying 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAYLEN JANE! I LOVE YOU ❤️ XOXO, JAKE' and walk up to me with roses and choclates. the crowd went wild when he knelt down on one knee and handed them to me.

ahh, memories..

but i swear, i have the most perfect boyfriend ever ❤️❤️ (i had to add the hearts because it shows more affection lol)
