Tasha woke up the next morning feeling stiff and still not herself. She felt arms wrapped around her and looked down to see Happy's tattooed arms snaked around her and smiled. She turned around carefully and kissed the tip of his nose. She chuckled when he scrunched his it up. "Mornin', killer." she whispered.

"Morning baby." he said as he carefully pulled her closer. "How you feelin'"

"Like I was shot four days ago." she says with a smirk. He looks at her and shakes his head with a chuckle, before kissing her. She returns the kiss, deepening it just a little. He let out a growl as she softly bit his lip.

He pulled away and looked at her with a smirk. "Doc clear you yet?" he asked.

She pouted and shook her head. "Not yet." she sighed.

He chuckled as he got up from the bed and helped her up with him. "C'mon. I'll help you shower." he said as he walked her towards the bathroom.

"Ah, c'mon." she protested. "That's teasing!"

Happy wiggled his eyebrows at her and smirked as he started the water. He helped her take her shirt off and ran a hand down her sides, stopping when he came across the bandage hiding her incision. He carefully took the bandage off, looking it over for signs of infection.

"Hap, you don't have to do this." she said, feeling self conscious about her body now.

Happy brushed her off and helped her take the rest of her clothes off and helped her into the shower, following suit. "I love you, Tasha." he whispered as he kissed her bare shoulder.

She smiled softly, "I love you too, Happy."

After their shower, Happy bandaged her up and helped her dress before heading out to the main room of the clubhouse. Tasha looked around and noticed that it was still a mess. She sighed as she took everything in. She thanked the prospect as he handed her a cup of coffee and as she sat at the bar. Her eyes trained on the spot that she laid days before.

Jax had brought her out of her thoughts as he sat next to her. "Don't think about it." he said softly as he looked over his sister. "You doin' ok today?"

She sighed and nodded. "I'm good. Took some meds and Hap helped me change the dressings." she explained. "Just want all this shit over."

He nodded in agreement and went over what they had discussed. He was going to take her to Hale's office if she was up for it, so she could convince him to set up another meet with Lowen. Juice had made sure he had printed out everything she had asked for, while Bobby made sure the file was organized.

Juice had done some more digging and had noticed that Lowen was one of Hale's biggest investors for Charming Heights development. Tasha took the phone Jax handed her and immediately made the call to Hale's office to set up an appointment. She sat on hold for a few minutes while she thought about what Juice had just told her. Why would Hale be searching out someone like Lowen when he had investors that were more than willing to invest in expanding Charming?

The secretary came back on the line breaking her out of her thoughts, "Who can I say the appointment is for?"

"Rose Morrow." she said, using her work name. "I'll see you this afternoon." She hung up the phone and turned to the rest of them. "We see Hale at two."

"Good. Juice, I need you, Tig and Chibs in the van." he says as he walks over to Happy. "I Want you with us. I need extra eyes on her."

Happy nodded and made his way over to Tasha who was deep into her file on Lowen, trying to get anything else out of the information that they had looked over again and again. "You ready for this?" he asked.

She looked up from the file and gave a weak smile. "As ready as I'm gonna be." she sighed. "This just doesn't make sense." she said as he pushed Lowen's criminal record towards Happy.

Happy looked it over and cocked his head to the side. He was no stranger to Jail time and he had done more time for lesser crimes than what Lowen had been charged with. "How does he even get off?" he asked.

"That's what I wanna know." she said in frustration.

A few hours later they were all loading up into the van. Jax opted for them to all go together instead of bringing their bikes. Tasha was seated in the front with Juice driving, while Tig, Happy, Chibs and Jax were in the back going over what they were going to do.

"I need you Juice and Tig to wait out by the van. Keep an eye on the entrance." Jax explained. He took a look at Tasha who was watching the mirrors as they went along. "Hap, you and me are gonna have her back. Anything she needs."

Happy agreed and snuck his hand over to Tasha and gave her hand a quick squeeze. She gave him a soft smile as Juice pulled up in front of Hale's office. Taking a deep breath she carefully climbed out of the van and headed for the doors with Jax and Happy close behind. They had opted to not wear their cuts to keep a lower profile and she was thankful they agreed. The last thing she needed was security to see the Sons in Hale's office. They would no doubt tip him off.

As they entered the office, Tasha signed in with reception and took a seat in the waiting area with Jax and Happy sandwiching her. She took a look around the simple office and noticed a man standing in the hallway leading to Hale's office. She sucked in a breath and grabbed Happy's thigh. "Holy shit." she whispered.

Happy and Jax noticed her change of attitude and looked at her. "What's up?" Jax asked with knitted brows.

"That's one of Lowen's men. He's watching Hale." she said in a panic. "If he sees me, this is all for nothing, Jax." she says in a whisper. Happy moved so he was blocking the man's view. They needed to come up with something and quick.
