After hours of going through files and arguing over who would do what and where they were going to start, they finally had come up with a plan to protect her. She was safe while she was with them and Jax had quickly made up a sort of schedule to maintain her safety. He would be lying if he said that he wasn't worried. The thought of losing his sister was terrifying. She was the light that had helped him through so much in his life that the mere thought of her not being there destroyed him.

"You're saying with me tonight." Jax says matter of fact.

"Tasha looked at Jax and nodded. "Guess it would do me some good to spend time with Thomas and Abel." she admitted with a smile.

Jax gave her a small smile and headed off towards the chapel to look through the files again. She sat at the bar consumed in her memories of the last year. The loss of her sister-in-law, the betrayal her mother caused as well as her mother's death. She shook her head as a deep gravelly voice brought her from the darkness of her mind.

"You ok, little girl?" Happy asked as he sat next to her at the bar.

She sighed and shrugged. "As good as I can be I guess. Just trying to figure out my next move." she said as she looked over to her friend. He noticed the dark circles, and her eyes had lost their spark. She leaned her head against his shoulder as she laid her beer back down onto the bar top. Happy resting his head on top of hers as they sat in comfortable silence.

After a few minutes of silence, Tasha broke out on a chuckle, which made Happy turn to look at her. "What's so funny?"

"Was just thinking of the night that we decided it would be a good idea to have a marksmanship competition while we were falling down drunk." she explained with a snort.

Happy chuckled at the memory as he lifted the sleeve of his t shirt, showing a scar. "I'm reminded of that night daily."

The two sat at reminisce about the past as the afternoon wore on. She was content in that moment and Happy could see the sparkle in her eyes start to come back. He couldn't help but feel a little relieved. Tasha had been his saving grace in his years in the club. She was saved him from becoming an absolute monster, and he was forever thankful to her.

Happy watched as Jax pulled out of the lot with Tasha. He suddenly felt something that he only ever felt when he thought about his mom. He was worried. He worried that whatever was going to happen was going to take away the one person who he could see him settling down with. He was conflicted with his feelings. He knew he loved her, had for a few years now. But he had no idea of how to process that.

She was his presidents sister, hos best friend. What would happen if he chose to act upon his feelings and she rejected him? Or worse, they worked out and he fucked it up somehow. He would lose her forever. He shook his head as he headed inside in search of someone that could help him with his thoughts.

"Bobby? Can I talk to you?" he asked looking hesitant. Anyone who knew the killer knew that he wasn't a big talker, so when he sought after someone to talk, you knew it was gonna be big.

Bobby looked up at Happy with knitted brows and motioned for him to sit. He took a sip of his coffee and waited for Happy to start. When he didn't Bobby sighed and took off his glasses. "What's eating at your brain, brother?" he asked.

Happy ran a hand over his bald head and huffed. It's kind of personal and it's fucking with me, man." he admitted.

Bobby looked at the killer with his eyebrow raised, "It's about Tasha, isn't it?"

Happy's eyes went wide at Bobby's words. "How the hell did you know?"

"It's not hard to see." he laughed. "You're a totally different person when she's around. The softer side of Happy shows up, which isn't a bad thing. So why does it have you fucked up?"

"She's a member's little sister. Better yet, the President's little sister. How do I even deal with that? Do I tell her? Do I talk to Jax? I don't know what the hell I'm doing." he admitted.

Bobby could see the confusion and frustration written all over Happy's face and sighed. Just talk to her, man. I'm sure everything will work out."

"I don't even know if she would want me. She deserves better than a stone cold killer."

"Talk to her. Tell her how you feel/ The rest will fall into place, and I can almost bet that the results will surprise you." he said as he got up squeezing Happy's shoulder.

Happy sat for a minute before getting up and heading for the door. He needed to clear his head and the only way he knew how to do that was go for a ride. He mounted his bike and peeled out of the lot, aimlessly riding through the streets of Charming.

Tasha and Jax pulled up to his one story brick home and laughed as he saw two figures in the window. Tasha saw where he was looking and Chuckled. "God they got even bigger in just a few months."

Jax nodded and sighed as they walked up the pathway towards the house. "They're growing up too fast. Especially Abel."

Just like on queue, Abel cam bursting out of the house running towards his dad. "Daddy!" he called out.

Jax braced himself and caught his son with ease as he threw himself at him. "Look who came to visit." he said pointing to Tasha.

Abel smiled wide and squirmed for Jax to put him back down on the ground. "Auntie Tasha!" he squealed as he hugged her legs. "I missed you."

She smiled to herself as she ran a hand over her nephew's head. "I missed you too, little man. Now how about we go inside and see Thomas."

Abel nodded and grabbed her hand, dragging her towards the house. She looked over her shoulder at Jax with a smile and followed her nephew. Jax watched with a smile and for the first time in months, he felt happy. His family was together and he was going to fight tooth and nail to keep it that way.
