Happy watched as the man paced the hallway. He could tell he was wearing a vest and could see he was armed. Jax quickly sent a text to Tig to come up with a distraction so they could get Tasha into Hale's office without him seeing her.
Happy looked to Jax and Tasha, "What's the plan prez?" he asked, his gaze going back to the man now standing closer to the receptionist. He watched as he began to flirt with her and gripped Tasha's hand, giving her a silent reassurance.
"Just texted Tig to come up with a distraction. See if buddy over there will check it out. Then we slip Tasha into Hale's office." he explained and right on queue, they could here a commotion from outside.
Tasha chuckled as she watched Tig and Chibs walking around as if they were drunk, and arguing with one another. "Looks like our distraction just showed up."
The man watching Hale had moved from the desk towards the two Sons to diffuse the situation as she say Juice running up to them. He was going on about the two had attacked him down the street.
Jax pulled Tasha by her arm gently towards Hale's office, Happy right behind them. They didn't bother to knock as they entered the rather elaborate office. Hale was in the middle of a phone call and was taken aback by the intrusion.
"What are you doing here?" he asks as he stared down Jax and Happy, who were blocking Tasha from his view.
Jax smirks as he explains, "We have an appointment. Well specifically," he stepped out of the way of Tasha. "She does."
Hale looked her over with a look of confusion on his face. "What can I do for you? Miss..."
"Teller, Tasha Teller." she said with a bright smile. "But you probably know me by my business name. Rose Morrow." She watched as Hale's face paled and his eyes grow wide.
"W-What do you want?" he asked as his eyes never left the two Sons standing behind her.
"Well Mr Mayor, looks like we have a friend in common." she smirked as she dropped the stack of pictures onto the desk. She watched as Hale looked them over and get more anxious. "I can hide this, if you help me."
Hale looked over the photos again before looking back up at her. "What do you want? Money?" he asked.
She laughed as she sat carefully in the chair across from the desk. She was trying her hardest not to show her pain and weakness she was still feeling. She was hoping her choice of sitting was coming off as cocky. "I don't want your money. What I want is Lowen. I know the two of you are pretty tight. So what I want you to do is set up a meet. You're gonna tell him that you want to iron out a few more details and give him this address." she said as she slipped a card across the table.
He looked at the address and looked at the men standing behind her. "If I do this, you're going to leave these photos in the dark?" he asked.
Tasha nodded and smiled. "Of course. But if you even mention my name to Lowen or give him a reason to think this is a set up, these photos will be the least of your worries." she said forcefully, leaning towards the desk. She smirked as she watched Hale in defeat. She leaned back in her chair and nodded towards the phone. "Now, pick up the phone and call him."
They sat and watched as Hale dialed the number and made plans for the meet. After hu hung up, Tasha got up from her chair and held her hand out to shake his hand. "Was a pleasure, Mr. Mayor."
He stood and took her hand in his and gave it a quick shake, before the trio made it out of the door. He ran a hand through his hair and looked down at his desk and sees the photos still laying there. "Shit."
When they got back to the club house, they headed right for the bar. Jax grabbed a bottle and some shot glasses and handed them around. They all toasted to a job well done and they all went into their respective corners to wined down for the night. Happy pulled Tasha aside, wrapping his arms around her waist pulling her in for a kiss, "You were great today." he said smirking at her.
She looked at him with a smile, "Well I'm not just a pretty face, ya know." she retorts as she slipped her arms up around his neck.
He lets out a chuckle and leaned down, capturing her lips in a searing kiss just as Jax walked by them and shudders. "Jesus Christ, get a room!"
"Oh yes, we will." Happy growled and pulled her towards the dorm.
Jax shook his head and laughed as his sister looked at him over his shoulder wiggling her eyebrows. "Don't rip out your stitches!" he yelled to her and laughed even harder when she flipped him off.
Taking a look around the room he had a feeling of doubt wash over him. Like this was the calm before the storm. A storm he had to make sure they were all ready for. He sighed heavily and took another shot before heading out of the door to his house. He needed to see his boys and think about the shit storm that was about to fall on all of them.
