"So what's with the sudden change of location?" Yuna asked as she fixed the silvery hairclip on her hair. They were at the comfort room of an ice rink where Yuna had just finished doing her own make up.
With disappointment on her face, Kyoko pouted and said, "Ugh. The monks said that they have to close the temple today for the monthly maintenance. I just don't understand why they had to do it on this day. I'm sorry Yuniah." She sighed. "Anyway, we couldn't push through so the team agreed to hold the Ice Fairy concept instead."
Kyoko was working on her final project at the university. She was making a coffeetable book on the concept of Autumn Fairy that's why she chose the old temple location. The autumn groove matched her concept perfectly, and with Yuna acting as the autumn fairy she knew she was going to nail her project.
Three of her blockmates were gracious enough to help her with the project. They agreed to go earlier at the temple and set up the place but were left frustrated when the Monks called up to tell them that the venue was unavailable for the time being.
Her senior blockmate suggested then to change the concept into ice fairy. Kyoko was desperate so she adhered. That was the reason as to how they ended up at the local rink and Yuna eventually being an ice fairy. The thought of the concept alone made Yuna cringe. She hated ice. To add more salt to the wound, they were holding the shoot at the same rink where Yuzuru first skated.
If it weren't for Kyoko's final project, she would have declined when they told her the alteration.
Yuna could only sigh now, "If I messed this up, don't blame me."
"Hahaha! It's not like you're going to skate. You'll just stand there and we'll just take few shots. I know you'll do great... You always do great, Yuniah." Kyoko uttered and patted Yuna's shoulder.
Yuna forced a smile.
"I'm gonna go check the team outside. Come out if you're ready..."
She nodded and Kyoko left the room. She took one last glance at her reflection on the mirror and she set off to the ice.
---
Unlike what Yuna had expected, the shoot ran smoothly. Kyoko was very detailed with her instructions and Yuna was thankful that she was able to follow each one of them. She just slid at the ice and was very thankful that she did not knock her butt off it. She thought that maybe, Yuzuru should have been there. He should have seen how Yuna did not make a fool out of herself on the ice so he would stop making fun of her.
They didn't take much time and they were able to finish the shoot before the rink opened for the public around noontime. She had late lunch with the team. Soon after, they separated ways.
"Thank you so much, guys." Kyoko announced as they stood by the bus stop. "I wouldn't have pulled this through if it weren't for you."
