THE next day when she woke up, Yuna mentally noted the reasons why Yuzuru was ignoring her.

He was very cautious and guarded with his actions towards her. He was holding back which was not really like him. The past two visists at Korea spoke a lot of how he was never to hold back especially with his feelings towards Yuna. Hence, she started to ask questions like... Had the feelings changed then?

Most likely not. Yuna refused to believe that it did. Maybe, it truly had something to do with the phasing thing. Yuna was just hoping that it would be over before her leave credits did.

Yuna waited by the creek that morning and he showed up exactly just on time for their agreed meeting hour. The thing about the normal Yuzuru was he needed not to wear any hideous outfit to conceal his identity. He appeared clothed in a low waist jeans, black shirt and thick eye glasses with black frame that didn't match his outfit. It was a miracle that he thought of shaving the stubble that had started growing on his chin yesterday. Contrary to his cool costume and image on the ice, the common Yuzuru wouldn't catch your attention on the streets. He always dressed like he had not gone shopping for clothes in the past decade and still living in 2000s.

At least, it made Yuna feel secure that people would not chase him because he looked completely normal. Yuzuru's eyes sharpened when he saw what Yuna was wearing though.

"Wouldn't you feel cold with that dress?" He asked pointing at her clothes.

"This?" She asked, drawing her coat apart to reveal the magenta dress she had underneath. She spent the last hour trying to decide which dress to wear on this date, if this was a date at all. "N-no, I'm actually used to wearing this stuff." She lied.

She couldn't believe that she was braving the cold to impress the indifferent guy. He even got the nerve to question her about wearing it today.

What a hypocrite. Look at what he's wearing. She thought grudgingly as she studied him.

Yuzuru eyed her suspiciously. "If you say so,"

Then both stayed still standing in their feet. When the cold started to creep in, she looked down at her feet and asked, "Shall we go?"

He didn't say a word when they started walking. "Where are we going anyway?"

"Let's go watch a movie." Yuna suggested.

And they did watch a movie. They watched all the movies shown in the theatre downtown. It truly was a waste of time for two people who had spent the previous year longing to be together. After all the movies, they ended up feeling awkward and unsure of how to spend all this time to each other.

They came out the movie theatre when it was almost 3:00 in the afternoon. Without a clear destination in mind, they found themselves inside a newly opened cake house.

Yuzuru did not talk much and Yuna was not in any mood to start a conversation with the guy who was acting all hot and cold towards her since yesterday. Each bite from the sweet cake tasted bitter in her mouth. While Yuzuru munched his cookies and drank his tea, she stuffed herself with the chocolate mousse cake.

Why did he agree to see me today if he's gonna act like I don't exist? She thought to herself. I can't believe I traveled this far and he would just ignore me. What an actual idiot.

She didn't realize that her thoughts had transferred to action already as she pierced the beautifully decorated cake with her fork. The good looking rude guy across the table who was ignoring her watched her silently this time. When he could no longer bear it, the guy spoke.

"Hey stop that." He demanded.

"Stop what?" She replied.

"You're hurting the cake." He answered back.
